This is the 4th day in a row i have sat in an AV queue for over 3.5 hours, to no pop. No, i haven’t played AV in 4 days despite being the queue for well over 12 hours over that span.
Don’t tell me “just reroll”. If i had months of free time, maybe i would consider it. But forcing players to reroll is not the way to solve an issue. It’s restrictive to the player base, at BEST.
Fix the issue to get the alliance back in the queues. I don’t care what it is, and you militant #nochangers can shove it. Some of us would rather play the game, than have parts of the game be completely excluded due to your rigidity.
Let’s never add LFR or LFG. Let’s never balance classes. Lets never add transmog. But for the love of christ, can everyone get over their militant nochanges garbage and make a change so we can play a substantial part of the game
IF you want shorter queues , then you MUST reroll. It’s what i have done. Classic is an endpoint, a museum piece. The sad thing about Classic is it NEEDS lots of work on just about everything and it still the BEST thing on the market. Band aids and tweaks will only expose more issues. Things that please you would only enrage others.
I fully understand your point. I do. However, how is making AV enjoyable to the alliance, such that they actually queue for it, and making it possible for horde to get in a game, something that would “enrage others” in any way? It ONLY makes the game better for everyone. Alliance actually play, horde…oh! Actually play!
When they first launched we all had 1-2 minute queues, THEN people started hitting exalted with their AV faction after marathoning it and then the queues got longer and longer and longer.
Go back four months and you’ll find hundreds of Horde that were very enraged at the 50/50 win rates and wanted AV destroyed.
We literally warned you this would happen, Horde ignored it, Blizz ignored it- and look where we are now.
And why not? Horde players have no respect for Alliance players, that’s been made clear time after time- right now even the only issue isn’t that Alliance aren’t playing because they don’t find AV fun- the issue to Horde is that Alliance aren’t lining up to be punching bags for them in AV so they have to wait.
And even without Blizz stepping in, we’ve been telling Horde players what they can do to get Alliance to stop abandoning it.
Stop turtling for an hour resulting in Alliance never passing SHGY.
Stop sending gank squads back to deny Alliance LT kills, something that gives Alliance a bit of honour but costs Horde literally nothing.
When we’re making suggestions that won’t even cost Horde a thing- heck, a fast game would mean more HPH/rep and more games for Horde in general- and they’re all shot down.
Like, what did Horde expect? The point of scorched earth is to make the earth completely unlivable for everyone. That’s what the strategy does- that’s what your intent was, there’s no coming back from it.
These are exactly the kind of things im fighting for, to be transparent. Make the little changes - MAKE THEM. I don’t care who alliance players are or what people think of the digital “rivalry” between these two groups, but for me, i just want to play the f***ing game.
Were these buried under the cries of your own faction getting crapped on by your premades?
Or was it when your premades started crying about pvp stopping their 7 min games?
Maybe it was the posts about the handicapped auto losses your premades subjected your own faction mates to.
Maybe they were buried by the posts of your faction mates complaining about the abuse of the afk feature to kick pugs so your premade buddies could get in.
Maybe they were buried by the posts complaining about not being able to report the afk leeches because the afk tool was disabled by the premades abuse of it.
Maybe they were buried by the false flags getting solo allies accounts squelched because they were “sniping” premade slots.
Yea. Buried underneath all that bs no wonder I missed these cries about a 50/50 win ratio. You’re too funny.
Not this Hordie. Leave it like it was in Vanilla. Alliance won back then. It’s not the map. Allies just want their pve race.
Engage the pvp. Allies might win.
Map changes aren’t going to get alliance to queue. They got their pve rewards. AV is about done.
Only ones holding on to it are solo rankers and alts trying to get rep for their pve rewards. Both groups will quit queing when they get their gear too.
AV is going to be the bg people queue up for once in awhile. Probably mostly AV weekends.
It’s inevitable.
