AV map layout why is this not a priority. This was addressed and fix back in the day

Keep telling that to yourself I guess.
15 years ago the game was played very differently and everyone zerged on this version of the map to farm honor for PVP gear before TBC launched.

I could honestly care less. I’m just telling you exactly what happened.
I’m sure you can ask around but there were huge lobbies in 24/7 and shut up and queue at the time. Yes the honor per hour dipped with this method but it was still viable until hotfixed.

You cannot provide me with proof that it was changed other than “trust me” and “I don’t care if it sounds tin-foil hat, I know its true?”

That really isn’t very compelling to me.

If it was not listed on any patch notes I’m not sure how else you want me to prove it? Just ask around find some of the hardcore alliance “AV” rankers. Anyone farming out over a million honor a week through AV knew of every single change and what people were doing to work around them. Up until blizzard completely killed it.

I have all ready said that my Alliance friends told me that it was super-jank and not worth the time, that it was simply better to just go to WSG.

But if you’re willing to believe in super-secret undocumented changes on no evidence, then I am afraid that no amount of evidence could ever possibly change your mind on the subject.

And in vanilla, where ally had a higher winrate during the entirety of AV.

Guess ally players were just really really good at the game back in the day.

I actually don’t think people would have played it. The entire goal is HPH / Rep Grinding. The “I just want to kick your face in” aspect of PVP isn’t there.

How did you measure this? When I played vanilla, every server was different and had its own Q’s and teams.

Not to mention the version I played in was completely different than this…

What do you mean if I’m willing to believe lol? Even if it was as “super-jank” as you’re claiming I can assure you Alliance would still be doing it and they would be doing it again this weekend if it wasn’t patched out.

As I said you can believe it never happened all you want and that’s fine but if you spent the time to ask other people then your 1-2 friends you’d know this happened. I’m sure you can probably sign up for 24/7 discord if it’s still around and read the post history when this workaround was found and when it was hotfixed.

There is no reason to believe a “second” change ever happened. Its all tin-foil hat nonsense.

So without doing any research on the subject on your own and while also never playing as Alliance you can confirm it never happened and shrug it off as tinfoil? Blizzard has done many undocumented changes to WoW through it’s life and this won’t be the last time either.

As I said. Find just 1 Alliance AV ranker who was hardcore about the grind and they’ll confirm everything I just said about the second hotfix.

Ppl valuing HPH over anything else would not, but many who want fun would. I would play it after I’m done ranking to 12 (1 more week to go).

For the third time, I have all ready had talks with Alliance, and they said it just wasn’t worth the time to do the super janky “queue for a game you hope is at least 5 minutes out” thing.

But if you’re willing to believe in deep-state secret changes, then there is nothing that could possibly change your mind. Feel free to believe what ever makes you feel better…I just prefer to believe in the truth.

Get a group of 200 alliance together and have them try to queue into a single game. It won’t work anymore. Up until this additional hotfix happened both the “24/7” and “Shut up and queue” discord were thriving. 24/7 had over a 1000 alliance in it. The bot in the discord would show game #'s in progress and tell you when to queue for the game. You’d then join a second lobby while in Queue, once your game popped and you joined your match you could see the AV # still while in game and you’d join the appropriately #'d AV channel.

To say this didn’t exist while I’m able to explain to you exactly how it was done and why it stopped is laughable.

Believe what you want. But there is no more use in trying to have a conversation with someone who truly believes that sort of thing. Just keep the tribalism down.

It really wasn’t depending on what your goals were. AV premades still had rep farmers and people with other reasons wanting to play AV.

They didn’t document the first change past ‘av numbers removed’ but there was a change with that to how queues work. The second change was not documented at all, but it did happen.

Moving the cave back did not fix the problem.

Do you have a reason for me to believe that other than “trust me?”

No sorry, it’s been so long even if I could think of some sort of concrete proof it would be pretty hard for me to dig it up.

When was this done? Oh yea. TBC. It’s coming. Be patient. Both sides will zerg in TBC and your win rate will rise because allies have the advantage in the bs avoid pvp to race to a pve boss games.

What problem was that? This change happened after the conditions for winning changed. Has nothing to do with allies lack of effort and teamwork in current classic. Alliance won back then with this same map and these same win conditions. What’s changed? Alliance’s heart to fight is what’s changed.
