I love you Pollz, but it is pretty damn hard to take IB gy when they are spawning at cave like 30 feet away. You literally have to let the horde take snowfall before you have a decent chance of taking IB which is a valid tactic that I have seen work a few times. But doesn’t seem like having to let the other team take an objective so we can win should be a thing.
I want people to spawn at FWGY instead of the cave, that is what I am saying. Also Alliance spawning into DB when SPGY gets taken.
Ya i agree with that. Should NEVER spawn at starting cave unless all other GY’s are gone
Think of it this way if we could get to a more 50% win rate for both alliance and horde. More alliance would Que. Which would bring down horde que timers alot.
I don’t disagree that the map thing is inbalanced, nobody asked for 1.12 anyways lol, most people wanted day 1 vanilla.
You’re not wrong.
But the changes that do happen should actually be proven to have the desired effect. Moving the Horde cave back has no evidence of that on this version of the map.
Having been horde for 15 yeas I used to go on like this.
It is an awful map for Ally but keep trolling whatever makes you feel good .
hugs
Would ‘what’?
Oh, right, queue? … ok
Regardless Audio of any changes that take place, the biggest hurdle you have is getting the alliance rankers to have a reason to go in to AV. Otherwise it will always be alliance’s C team versus some of hordes best players.
So if you wipe the alliance at SH right away and take the GY to hold the choke at icewing it’s not an advantage? Meanwhile if the Alliance wipe you we’re not anywhere near IBGY and we’ll have to wipe you 2-3 more times to even contest the GY.
The actual tactic for alliance that works right now is to wipe them 4 times at SH and LET them take SF so we have a chance at getting IB. This doesn’t seem a little …much?
Have you ever completely “wiped” a 40 man AV raid? That doesn’t ever happen. If you can kill that many people in a single 30 second rezz wave…then it really doesn’t matter where you killed them.
Ally still have ‘rep farmers’ . We are an utterly useless faction. I despise us but am so over horde zerg .
Oh well. wevs. Its fun being the minority, as horde used to be, back in the day.
Ya I got my rep done like day 3 lol.
Care to address what he actually wrote?
The map is identical to it’s state in 1.12, when alliance had no issues with winning AV. Audio, you are a prime example of someone who talks past an argument you do not like, because making excuses comes ever so much more easily.
Completely wiped? Yes very infrequent.
However you don’t need to wipe the whole team. Kill 20 of them near instantly and you’ve just put them on a 2 res cycle. Since you’re already at SH you’ve basically won since you’ve bottled in 20 players into a hole they can’t leave.
Horde didn’t figure out scorched earth until mid to late TBC, sunwell is when they pushed the Horde cave back.
Everyone sucked in vanilla and 90% of the player base had no idea what they were doing. You can’t use that as an example in a 15 year old game and expect to win an argument.
They “figured it out” due to reinforcement mechanics being added. Try again.
Your spawning point is the spot where your advantage is at its maximum. If you’re losing a fight where you don’t have to move at all to engage, and the enemy team has to move the entire length of the FoS to engage…then you kinda deserve to lose that graveyard.
Lol, lists weapon skill in a PVP thread.
Also lists hillsbrad as an advantage. Like horde don’t have advantage in zones like thousand needles, Ashenvale, barrens, etc. Or the perfectly centers flight path placement in important zones like Feralas, STV, and Felwood. Or the fact horde can level in nonflagged zones for an extra 5-10 levels compared to alliance. Or that they can travel across continents without flagging–oh and their zeppelins have insanely powerful guards while boats have nothing.
Even the developers have said there was massive horde bias in the game lol.
