Still on the losing end of arguments I see Glinda
Make an argument don’t run from the post you weakling.
premades was in no way cheating lol, any the only requirement was a 100% mount and having braincells
Stacking a raid group with third party software while screwing over the rest of your faction? AV has a level requirement of 51+, and uses a first come/first serve queue system. Gaming the system and putting on player-imposed requirements on what is supposed to be a random group is low.
Most can agree that Alliance AV pugs are absolutely horrible and make the game unfun. Glad you’re enjoying AV since the change though, you’re like a unicorn.
And things are so much better now? LOL grats on that.
Blizzard does a great job making fun games (keep in mind that fun doesn’t need to imply perfect.) The problems seem to come when folks try to game the system.
I’ve enjoyed the AVs where we had significant participation. Losing the match but taking away nearly 6k honor after HKs and bonus honor feels productive. It sucks big time when we’re followed by 5-10 leeches who’re not doing anything to help, however.
I don’t know, perhaps if the Alliance stopped constantly insulting their teammates and figuring out a way to work with them instead of against them…they would also be more willing as well.
The Alliance has split itself up into a pseudo caste system…people viewed the pugs as (going to use insults i have heard other Alliance used) as a “disease” or “leeches” or “dregs.”
I don’t blame the Alliance pug for a moment if they have a chip on their shoulder.
The only fix is to revert the queue change so we can put our leeches in backfills.
It’s because they are. I played a game last night where I reported something like 15 people sitting on mounts or on flags not contributing in the SLIGHTEST.
Short queue times mean we get the worst kind of player in every game. We really need premades again so we can filter out our leeches, it is the only fix unfortunately.
I know this will trigger horde but you have to realize our position.
I guess thanks for exactly proving my point.
As a pug AV’er myself I can safely say you’re a joke.
There’s nothing wrong with calling people who sit pesudo afk to soak up honor without doing anything leeches.
Pugs aren’t righteously rebelling cause of mean words, and it’s hilariously autistic that you think that’s the case.
You just want to have all the advantages. Horde have it too good and it really ruins PvP. The only change that will balance classic in the long run is reverting the queue changes. If they’re not your alliance PvPers will eventually quit. It’s just not fun. All the incentives and meta favor you.
How many times are you personally going to tell me what I want? Its like up to several times now. How many times am I going to have to replay that I want a healthier game, and that my post history supports that.
Doubt any of them care enough about the game to read the forums to see people talking about them. And those of them that do obviously don’t think it applies to them.
I’ll stick to wsg and eventually AB where you can have a competent set of people to play with and this is the same sentiment of the people I associate with on Alliance.
As is your right to do so.
But AV is meant to be a melting pot of people messing around. I think Blizzard let people rank in there for too long and they got used to it. It is okay to be bad in AV, it is okay to fish and kill harpies.
Not okay to to bot or be non-participatory though…but you’re allowed to be bad in AV. The Horde play along side with their baddies, we managed to figure out how to play along side and work with them.
It is truly sad that AV is so gross on wow classic. I’ve played 2 projects of vanilla wow on pservers all the way through and they used the 1.5 AV and it was amazing.
This meta/version of AV is the most boring, predictable and unfun BG I’ve had to pull myself and alts through. For horde with the near perfect win rate it must seem like a pve mini game.
I don’t know why the forums don’t shift to complaining for a better version of the BG instead of saying players need to change the way they think as the solution.
I was in China when BGs were released and they were dead by the time I got back.
I don’t think anyone actively wanted 1.12AV. I know I didn’t. And i know there were huge posts detailing how and why 1.12AV was going to be bad.
I would absolutely love it if they just killed the current form of AV and put in 1.15 overnight. But you’re right, this version of AV is not healthy.
I just don’t see Blizzard all-of-the-sudden putting in 1.5 AV though, especially after this much time…which is unfortunate.
People begging not to have 1.12 AV is one of the largest threads in the classic forum
