Nothing is getting wiped. This isn’t Diablo.
AV is still a giant rep exploit. There is pretty much no reason to do it other than the rep rewards and the druid change just makes it worse because once the druids have been sent there is no incentive to continue the game. The alliance just afk at that point to take the faster loss.
This isn’t a fix, this breaks it further.
Once the vast majority of players finish their current AV grind, you won’t see as many new players start it. Removing the druids exploit now doubles/triples the time it takes to complete the grind.
its been dead on the Oceanic battlegroup outside of weekend AV holiday for a few months now. My friend was in an AV queue for 9 hrs the other day, never popped. Shame really.
They’ll sulk in their queue but won’t think it’s due to the massive imbalance. They’ll just convince themselves that “alliance R cowards hehehe”

No. We were losing every game. And fast too.
I would go as far to say the rep grinding meta was and still is better for the alliance. Sure you won’t be able to turn in infinite crystals anymore, but you can turn in a lot more in 30+ minutes than you can within 6-8!
Just admit that it’s dead now and move on. Rankers shouldn’t have to use it to boost their hph

The sooner players like you “move on”, the sooner the alliance will get a higher % of motivated players in the AVs they queue for.
The lot of you who are a constant mantra of boycott and not try, let them win, are the very players that have dragged your faction down.

first of all we are talking about gearing alts. the only thing needed here is maybe Don julio’s ring for melee and hunters. besides that everything is actually replaceable. back when the premade nerf first went into effect. I actually tried to win. but within a week we realized that wsg was just better honor wise.
these are two different concepts. don’t try to put them together. not trying means your still queueing. boycotting means you are not. boycotting is a form of protest, are you telling alliance not to protest? we would happily go back if the map was fixed (the cave res issue), but since that is not likely, the bg will just be dead while the bots populate it. soon premades will be back because so few actually queue.
AV can rot for all I care, may the alliance rep farmers get zero rep and horde queues go up to 8hrs+
It was the players who ruined AV. Granted the map is unbalanced but it is the same as it was in2006 and back then win ratios were closer to 50-50.

horde didnt play like they do now which is why the ratios are different. had horde used this strat then, it would have been like this back then.

Ironically if those horde players rolled alliance to show us how its done, they’d lose just as badly as the rest of the alliance

That is such a load of crap. Horde did not develop a new meta as much as they simply took what post premade alliance had no desire to fight for.

Yeah that’d work if horde wasn’t so extremely unbalanced. Yes, i’m looking at you shaman with 1.6k chain lightning crits from the back line.
The Faction balance gap is just too big. Paladins don’t have anything that compares to a shaman instantly melting 3 people at a time. AV was already about who has the most ranged dps. Having shaman just tips the scales more in your favor.
Racials are identical to 1.12 vanilla.
Thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightening

Why do you care if you can instant queue and just get new druids to get more rep ?
