AV is now going to die within the next few days

How is controlling the mid a problem only for the alliance? There are 2 graveyards on the alliance side at mid. If you control both you have a spawn advantage.

Controlling the middle is not the problem, controlling the middle(or trying to push any further south) while also holding SHGY is the problem.

Man, i had my char go from neutral to exalted without holding any druid, before ppl realized they could do that, and I did it in 3 days…

Shhhh your logic is showing it might offend him.

They also ignore the defenders advantage they have with all their alliance NPC dealing extra damage to help them get their kills.

It is like you just don’t read 90% of what is discussed so you can snidely attack points not even being made.

So the complaint is you have to play AV like normal now? Am I reading this right?

No.

What NPC’s are helping alliance win at SHGY besides 1 LT? It’s not either bunker that’s for sure.
You’re such an unbelievable failure.

The middle of the Map is actually Belinda that’s part of the problem.
Horde are gifted a SF cap uncontested.

You are most likely talking to an alliance alt that mains horde. They are just trying to get more alliance to join an so they can win and have better queue times. I bet they don’t even care about alliance bots as long as they keep their 99% win rate. They don’t want any competition. Which is why they come here on the forums, try to troll and demoralize alliance even more. They keep on telling us “try harder” but what they really mean is “try harder to become our honor sticks. We really need you.”

I guess now that servers are open again, You’ll get an influx of bots to come to each game. Horde don’t care because honor is honor and they don’t lose. They know the map is not balanced and would prefer to keep it that way. Atleast until they get their rank.

Is there a reason why there are Still games going on? Actually yes, we undervalued how much other content grew stale. And more and more people are creating alts. Also we have a pandemic so people don’t have stuff to do. In less than a week it will just be bots

Fears can push people into range of archers, you can also have your ranged dps and healers close enough to the bunker to get protection from their archers and still be in range to hit around the flag (this means melee that go for the backline have extra dps on them from the archers) the GY itself has NPC to protect it, and payrolls cross through it. The Rams nearby can also attack horde with fear and kiting.

But that’s irrelevant because the alliance don’t use these benifits 90% of the time, clearly the map is the reason they have no advantages at all right?

Noone has ever denied that alliance can turtle DB with 40 players for a long time. Although considering horde can do the same at FW that’s not that special.

If you’re getting hit by the bunkers while Assaulting SHGY you’re probably not the brightest person in the game. The fact that you brought up Rams at all is actually laughable.

There is only 1 patrol on the road walking between IWB and Belinda + the LT near the flag. The other ones are at Belinda and north east of SHB .

Comparatively our supposed “mirrored” gy is IBGY. 1 Choke to get in, a cliff guarded flank, 1 tower you HAVE to get in combat with to get in. The same 1 LT at flag + 1 bonus stationary LT right across from the flag. + 2 fattys (only 1 makes it near the flag). Then you have the whole cave situation still to deal with.

The base defenses are not remotely comparable. DB can be stonewalled with less than 10 players. FW is a wide open mess. But as usual, you left yourself a lawyering escape hatch by specifying “with 40 players”.

Except it really can’t, and no FK Keep is not wide open.

Yah the choke between east/west doesn’t exist nor does the building below it.
Also if you’re dying to archers at level 60 you’re garbage.

In regard to NPC spacing and proximity, it is wide open.
Also:

  • our druid is in a cave on the wrong side of our ramp “choke”, as is our armor and mine supplies turnin NPCs
  • That building that has been brought up shields attackers from arrows
  • Our recall point is far away from our base GY flag, so recalling to recap it is much more difficult than alliance’s
  • Need I mention the wall jump hill? How about the walls at the top of our ramp that attackers can easily skirt around?

This thread is utterly pathetic and full of unnecessary whinging.

The whole mentality to lose as fast as you can for max honor / rep is literally cancer, there are so many players that want to play for the sake of enjoyment in a Battleground, yet they’re plagued by this community of salty rankers / rep grinders and consistently lose as a result.

Blaming this whole ordeal on Horde Racial’s is also laughable, they’re really not a big deal when you think about it. For example, my racial only breaks fear which has a cooldown, and only impacts Priests & Warlocks (or the occasional Warrior fear).

However, as a Rogue fighting Human’s I never have the element of surprise or the jump, and as a result I get killed often due to it - but I’m not going to AFK in the cave due to Human’s and their ability to see Stealth better with their racial.

Please stop this crying culture, play the god damn BG for fun - stop turning ranking into a responsibility.

So you’re advocating a line of casters and healers to stay far to the north of SHGY’s flag so they can get some archer support, all while placing them out of range of the flag with the actual skills that stop flag caps because they’re well below 20 yards in range? So melee is mostly responsible for keeping them off the flag now, separated from other targets making them easy pickings, and the Horde zerg-ball can just waltz right on up to the flag and start spam capping it while individual Hunters/Mages/Warlocks attempt to tab-cast/shoot?

This is hilariously stupid as a strategy as it simply doesn’t do anything for you. Additionally, the Horde can do this same “brilliant” strategy around IBGY except they have two towers to fan out towards. So how exactly is it an Alliance advantage when the Horde can do the same thing, but better? On top of that, how exactly is it advantageous to Alliance when in the event that the defending faction fails to stop the soft-cap… Alliance have to truck all the way from SPGY 10-at-a-time but Horde have the much closer spawn cave and come 20-at-a-time?

…really? The ram riders? So you think a PvE objective that both Horde and Alliance can perform is somehow a uniquely ALLIANCE advantage? Again, if Alliance is assaulting IBGY, WE ARE ON THE ROAD AS WELL. Never mind the hilarious stupidity of suggesting this when getting the ram riders requires a fair number of people to go north and south away from SHGY to do repeated turn-ins, which compromises the defense of SHGY in the first place, and necessitates a level of additional coordination that the Horde do not need to muster to win which is the entire problem.

WE DON’T USE THEM BECAUSE THIS IS THE SINGLE SILLIEST NONSENSE I’VE EVER SEEN
