To be fair, that change helped alliance more than it hurt. Alliance didn’t use that space to get by going north, but horde certainly used it to sneak by when alliance held SHGY and were trying to cut off IWB choke to horde going north.

Except it’s actually not, the ramp leading south to SHGY cannot be avoided or bypassed.
most pvp maps are made to favor the alliance. including Alterac Valley. see when its more balanced, you alliance babies cry its unbalanced, when in reality youre just not as good as you think you are. you guys think its bad now, and want tbc early because of it, but tbc will be 5x worse for the alliance. you care bears will have to run to your pve servers to hide.

If you think AV is fair and AB/WSG is alliance favored you’re braindead.

was AV fair in 2004/2005 and did you complain about it then? likely not. that’s the thing about Alliance. they only complain when they’re the ones constantly losing.

Things changes, strats change. What worked in the past no longer works.

yes people have gotten better. the horde have had 10 years to get good at alterac valley because it used to be we were the ones losing 9 out of 10 of those. but to another point, if alliance are winning 99% of wsg/ab doesnt that make it also unbalanced? you could argue better players but that doesnt negate that a 99% win ratio is not something that should be looked at as balance. something is broken there too.
