If the map is fine can we move the alliance starting position in AB to the blacksmith? That’s the equivalent of what AV is like for the Horde right now.
This needs to be copied, printed out, and taped to everyone’s computer screen who tries to argue the map is balanced, or anything less than insurmountably stacked in Horde’s favor.
Sounds more like they dont care, because they were exploiting. I wouldn’t care either with the current turtle strat.
This is 100% accurate. Saving this and posting whenever someone says the alliance dont try
You realize you can soft cap the horde GY without intentionally giving your GY away right???
It’s a great way to turn that soft cap into a hard cap…
I would love to see bliz allow alliance to spawn in horde cave and horde in alliance cave just to see all of the alliance qq map babies come up with another excuse as to why they lose so much. I’m sure somehow it still wouldn’t be their own fault.
I would be fine with this as well.
Maybe make it change every week?
It is as if they cannot grasp the concept that skipping over a GY and taking others is something that is effective, but rather every GY needs to be taken, hard capped, and held along the way prior to moving to the next. It is utterly bizarre.
I would love to see both factions spawn in their actual bases, and caves only being utilized if there is not a single other GY available.
But as to your point, they would backpedal and insist blizzard nerf horde racials (despite it not mattering in the other 2 BGs)
The next few days are over, it didn’t die.
The fact that it doesn’t matter in the other 2 BG’s where alliance do fine kind of points to the issue being the AV map
I assume since you claim to have played in Vanilla you also played in TBC when they moved the horde cave? Yes? Remember the alliance winning EVEN WHEN HORDE DECIDED TO TURTLE? Yes??
Saying it doesn’t matter where alliance spawn or where horde spawn, where the gy’s are and where the choke points are just defies everything we know about strategy. Not to mention how battles are won and lost. You also embarrass yourself making these outrageous claims.
I suggest you start here:

The changes to spawn locations was in response to the reinforcement mechanics. Because that is what made it favor horde.
Reinforcement mechanics were added to prevent super long games and not for general balance.
“Map is fine”
Literally gets changed in TBC because it’s not fine.
Thousands of players and hardcore pvpers have tried everything but a few retail trolls and some delusional horde pvp casuals say those players “Just aren’t trying enough”.
As i always say, sociology majors must love this forum.
It got changed for casuals to prevent 5+ hour games.
This change was the reinforcement mechanics. This change made it unbalanced and required more changes to balance the map.
Reinforcement mechanics is what broke the map and was not made to fix a balance issue, it was made for casuals to not have long games.
Yes, and the entire reason that it was moved at that point, WAS DUE TO THE (then) NEW REINFORCEMENT MECHANIC THAT MADE THE CAPTAINS WORTH REINFORCEMENT POINTS, WHICH SUDDENLY MADE HORDE WIN MORE OF THE AVs, WHICH ALLIANCE PROTESTED ABOUT, AND BLIZZARD AT THAT POINT MOVED THE CAVE.
Yeah dude, trust me, I was there.
Typical alliance crying over imbalances and when blizz fixes things, guess what more crying. Horde couldn’t do what alliance could with the druids, horde couldn’t get rep if Galv was dead unlike Belinda…
QQ more, your tears are salty
As far as I know horde shaman had the exact same option to hold them. Horde however had no incentive to do so because A) they were winning and getting far more rep from that B) the shaman have a much better chance of actually pulling off their summon C) The ice guy doesn’t bug out nearly as much as the tree and is actually worth summoning.
You would be wrong.
