AV is now going to die within the next few days

My point was it had nothing to do with you. It’s not like it’s a map advantage on AV…wonder which side has that??

The map advantage is horde side actually effects the Games but they fix something that doesn’t effect anyone negativity was my point.

I know you’re horde so you won’t see it that way tho. You win AV so you think you’re good.

I used to be alliance for a little over 5 months Drinknblink. And I got fed up with their toxic attitudes, not just in the game, but also on the forums here. So I can relate to both sides. Yes as a alliance we’d almost always meet them around balinda, to the right, to the left, or somewhere nearby and the fighting would start. We had the towers to help us supplement our attempts at pushing past them, through them, or wiping them, and on occasion we did. Horde didn’t bother taking the towers, until the graveyard was taken. Most of those AV’s back then, august to late dec after launch, I enjoyed a rather strong 70% win ratio. With the map as it was. By PUGGING it.

Despite this Cave issue, for horde respawn, the problem wasn’t its location, or the number of people it respawned, hell it wasn’t even the cave itself. The problem was the players of the horde, some were better geared than most, and running across the occasional harda$$ was particularily painful. That cave your referring to as a horde map advantage is only a disadvantage to the people who are crying about it constantly.

In the time it takes them to respawn, you could have gotten reinforced. You’ve had plenty of time to rest to full, buff up, hell even get people alive and healed up. But your sitting there, making excuses for something that hardly matters in the grand scheme of things. You also could have pushed south, even further while they’re waiting on respawn, and taken another graveyard, sending a few people in to take towers, and the relief hut. Your team could have left 4 groups near the opening of that cave to deal with any horde coming out of it, while the other half of your team secured the frostwolf towers, relief hut etc. But your side doesn’t push when the opportunity presents itself. That’s just how it is these days. Your side lives in turtle mode, and rarely thinks past it. So you sit, you complain about this, that and everything else, while the main issue you have with the map is due to the fact that the rankers left it high and dry when the horde adapted and started flattening them. No more 8 minute zerg wins, alliance had to endure getting beat down at a choke point that they themselves hold.

You really don’t know how AV is huh? That’s some high-quality denial there.

An army rez’s 20 at a time 20 seconds from their objective.

An army rez’s 10 at a time 50 seconds away from their objective.

Taking AV out of the equation, if you asked anyone who would win that objective knowing those 2 things, which would they pick. Take your thrall pajamas off and be unbiased, there is no real horde vs alliance. Answer that question honestly.

That choke does not work for the Alliance as well as it works for the Horde. It’s one directional because of the steep drop off – we cannot get past it while it’s defended and you have a fair chance of just riding through it and dropping down to freedom when we hold it.

There are a lot of things in AV that simply don’t’ work as well for the Alliance as they do the Horde – SPGY is great for the Horde, it defends their Shaman summoning spot for example. Our druids (don’t actually ever) summon Treesus in the middle of the Field of Strife. Our cave reinforces SPGY – the equivalent of FWGY not IBGY. SHGY is not protected by SH Bunker. IBGY is protected by both towers and your cave. The map imbalance isn’t everything, but it was the seed that grew this mess.

Troll? I very cleary explained the map design flaw which directly contributed to the alliance AV rep farm lose meta. You literally have to kill the same horde ~10 times over and over again trying to finish capping IBGY unless you LET the horde take SFGY first.

I literally just asked him a question on my post like 3 spots up, let’s see if he can answer it honestly or is he still wearing his Thrall pajamas.

Ah I see the gnomes are out in force, lemmie get my golf club. Its almost time for some Mini-Golf.

Well to put it mildly Drinknblink. The above accounting was as a alliance player, so for starters. Biased? Said the pot to the kettle. Your focused only on one thing, that you rarely ever get to see, and your using it for the focal point of your loss ratio it seems. You can be upset about it all you like, when it suits your needs its convenient as a excuse. Though I do understand, as I said before, your view point. But clearly you missed that.

Now lets see if you can answer mine, or are your diapers too big for you little gnome.

What does that issue with the cave mean, WHEN YOU ALMOST NEVER GET THAT FAR SOUTH FOR IT TO ACTUALLY MATTER?

Too bad it only takes 20-25 AVs to go from neutral to exalted for horde. We arent derp and actually do handins without having to beg. Did exalted twice on alliance… took weeks. I was already exalted at like level 55 on this guy. kek

I see you didn’t answer the question tho.

Ofc that’s why we lose and why I focus on it, that’s literally OUR FIRST OBJECTIVE.

Why not answer the question without AV,A If I have you that scenario which army would always be able to hold that objective.

Also I was horde at launch, I switched in phase 2 because I wanted to be the solution to the imbalance. You did the opposite.

Now answer the question.

Ok, plain English. Both armys could. Depending mainly on the players in questions, not the mechanics itself. Sure the group defending would eventually get overwhelmed by constantly killing the attackers, and forcing them back into a respawn cycle if they weren’t overrun in the first place. But that’s not their fault, its yours for trying to maintain a defensive position against superior numbers.

After all, YOUR SIDE KILLED THEM TO RESPAWN THEM. So what’s the issue, can’t do it again? Try being unbiased yourself, you talk a good game, but you only highlight the points that are relevant to your argument.

Nope you were just abusing an insanely unbalanced map that basically guarantees you a victory if you just play a little bit of defense are are even half as strong as your opponents.

I see one period, and no comma’s. Nice run on sentence. Can you edit it and rephrase, so its a bit more understandable?

It is called attrition…you slowly lose players and resources while a flood of horde keep returning with full resources. Pretty simple really. Yes most battles don’t make it to IBGY anymore because everyone already knows that it is futile to even try and take it 90% of the time. So most just get what rep they can from defending SH and then SP.

How is it abuse, when the game itself puts us there without any choice?

Now you owe me a answer, little gnome. Scroll up to find the question. Its rather easy to see.

Or are your diapers too big for you?

Such a great rebuttal, guess when you cannot actually defeat there points you can always critique there grammar…

Still waiting on how to beat an IBGY defense as an Alliance…

I realize you are thick and have charged into walls a few too many times, but I will point out that your own argument shows why the cave rez is OP in defending IBGY.

The Horde cannot win SHGY without killing enough of us that we have to skip a rez wave or two or three. The 10 rez per wave limit is an anti-turtle mechanism baked into the battleground that is broken when you can rez in the cave 20 at a time instead of 10 at a time. An IBGY defense works because it is endlessly reinforced by the cave – Alliance have to give you SPGY so you rez there instead of the cave when you die attacking SHGY or our base. Alliance only rez in the cave if they die on the road between shgy and the bridge to our base if we don’t hold SPGY – otherwise we spawn at Dun Baldar relief hut! Which is really weird when you died at IBGY, let me tell you.

Figure it out for yourself. It can be done, and it has been done before. Try.

My apologies, being a older person. I find it hard to read English when there’s no actual grammar or punctuation in it. Makes it seem very hard on the eyes, and is more confusing, because i’m not fluent in teenager lack of education level of schooling.
