Since gold now translates into real money, not fixing this is the equivalent of taking money from customers and giving them nothing. Imagine if a bank made this error. I don’t think ignoring this can be legal.
PLEASE give us an update. Even if it’s just “we’re still working on it, please be patient.”
Soooooo… am I going to get my gold back or no? Are you devs starting to think that doing an AH update would of been better on a .5 patch instead of a main patch with a new raid and markets resetting for that said new raid?
No at this point we have heard that enough. I think after almost a week it’s either an ETA of fess up that info was lost and we need to give it up
That’s not good enough at this point. They need to explain to us what the problem is and give us an actual timeline. It’s one thing to ask for patience three or four days ago, but they’re dodging all accountability right now by not giving us clear information (or any information, really) about a critical system in the game.
It’s not even accountability. Its the fact its been radio silence for days. Like wtf, an issue this big and the blues go radio silent?
They are definitely losing money over this issue. I have a character that I want to server change and can’t because I have “active auctions that need to be cancelled.” Only problem is - I don’t. There is nothing in my auction queue so the only thing it could be is the stuck mail.
I’m not convinced they know how to fix this. If they did, surely this big of a problem that’s been happening since last week would’ve been fixed with today’s maintenance. Real money has been lost. They need to make it right.
Not even to mention the loss of gold to be made the rare days new patches launch.
Same here. Can’t wait to fail a trial because I cant get onto the realm and do mythic! =)
An update would go a long way at this point. Everyone was expecting this important issue to be fixed or at the minimum have the courtesy of updating us. When people feel like their voices aren’t heard it creates panic and frustration. This is not good when we have a choice to spend money elsewhere or play another game. Losing loyal subscribers at this point would be detrimental to the future of WoW.

Long maintenance and still no gold in my mailbox. For those of us trying to get the brutosaur before you guys remove it, you sure at not making it easy at all. We need an update on this situation. It also makes it hard to stream gold making when we see no gold from auctions.
I use the tab button to cycle, I found using that helped select it. Clicking a name doesn’t select it like it used to.
They dont care. They are getting as bad as other AAA studios.

I agree with you there. I left FFXIV because that sh*t. Came back to WoW, starting to regret that now. Should’ve just went to ESO
It’s unfortunate, but over the past 2 years the user base has really been turning on them because of their lack of clarity with issues and just an overall sub-par product.

It really is sad. I hate to see them lose people that recently came back or people that have been here for a long time and “stuck it out”. Honestly, in the 13 years of playing this is the most frustrating thing for me and I think its because we don’t a response or feel like anyone is listening. It’s a deal breaker for me if they don’t say or do something.
Hehe for a long time AH was a main aspect of my wow days too. Its frustrating that this is happening, i wish the market is better after all this, and not worse.
