Auction house is dead to me now

LOVING the changes. lol.
so many mats that were so hard to get before and actually at decent prices.
I’ll give up a some income on the stuff I farm to have reasonable prices on everything else

I doubt it.
with more sellers comes more buyers…who will snag up the low price stuff to use…or to flip, same as now.
There are mats that are OVER priced to a disgusting level that SHOULD be forced down to a reasonable level.
If the prices go up, more will farm to sell them and drive the price down.
If the price goes down too low, they’ll stop farming it and flippers will drive the price back up.

What evidence do you have to support these claims besides your anecdotal experiences? Because it seems like you just listed a handful of baseless predictions. In my post I not only cited an economic principle that directly applies to the AH situation we now have, but I also reference WTBGold (one of the foremost experts on the WoW economy) and his opinion, which happens to directly oppose almost everything you’re saying. Please elaborate, Yelenya.

Don’t get me wrong, the cross faction AH will certainly allow for cheaper mats, which is a good thing in and of itself for crafters, but the detriments it carries with it will be massive and, in my opinion, far outweigh the benefits.

Good idea, head to all my alts banks and dump all my old world mats.

I just came to say that I don’t care

Have you considered opening 17 WoW accounts and multi boxing? I’m sure those guys still make money. Takes a lot of skill too, they move perfectly in sync, that’s gotta be like 10,000 apm just to gather.

Some people might say they’re botting or using external programs to do it, but I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they have 10 hands.

Youre still not understanding. It doesn’t matter what server you’re on when it comes to auctioning mats, flasks and pots. All NA servers buy from the same pool hence me being able to level kul tiran leatherworking for around 5000 gold today

I’d like a source for that.

Thank you Blizzard for allowing me not to pay Ralph’s outrageous prices any longer.

And what about the people who don’t have a disposable income every month and relied on tokens as a means to play? Yes, we exist. I made all my gold through selling mats (mostly herbalism) because that’s what is most realistic for me. I’m lucky that over the years I’ve made enough to buy some backup tokens worth a few months. Unfortunately, not everyone has this. If we can’t make gold to buy our subs then it’s over for some of the player base. This isn’t just a one way issue of ‘lol well now I can just buy gold with irl money.’ Tokens work both ways for different people in different circumstances.

Yeah, Blizz screwed you guys, unless they do something to give players a way to make gold again

lmao…someone is having their guildies flag bomb posts and AGAIN moderation is dumb enough to keep falling for it

Keep gathering. Or level a proffs on an alt.

Prices will stabilize. First everything got kicked off the AH for the change, now there is a huge supply increase since the AH was offline for a while.

well my server have the best prices in years to sell mats

I just dumped a bunch of extra mats on the AH…90 minutes or so later they ALL sold for a good price. Just cashed out. I think the concern is unwarranted.

prices in my realm stayed about the same. a couple prices for certain select items went down.

Prices stayed the same if not went up on my server. If you were on a low pop server and gathered it would make sense that your prices may have gone down.

I’m putting up for auction, one personalized oinkery from Hogrus.

Starting bid, 5k.

There’s about to be a Quick Sale on all things Shadowlands before the next expansion… Get that 60 lvl armor while it’s Hot! :joy_cat:

Prices on my server are way higher…
