Lol I said same in reply, it was over 700 at the time I read it and I read the OP and several after. I don’t have an hr to read what is guaranteed to be mostly garbage. If the amount of replies is reasonable I otherwise always read the whole thread first.

Thing is you wont have much work to do since you are limited with average of 1 crafting charge per day and concentration.
One player order per day would be a huge boost from the zero per day I do now.
(I sometimes burn a lot of concentration on patron orders, but that’s fairly temporary until I get my skills higher)
Never use public order for something you want rank 5 for. People are in no way locked into it and I doubt theyll use any concentration by choice.
Public orders are for crests, toys and mog.

People still defending people taking advantage of a faulty system and blaming people for using wrong the poorly implemented system rather than ever once considering the perfect system could actually be improved.
The amount of victim shaming in this thread is unreal. People that instead of fighting scammers would just spend the day telling their victims how stupid they are.
had a similar thing happen the other day, requested a T5 (minimum 590 iLvL) item to be crafted and paid a 2500g tip, so after paying 12k for mats then the tip, I got a T4 item. I’m out of pocket almost 15k gold for something I’ll need to have recrafted.
There should be an option to decline and relist the order when this happens, even if you have to pay the 20g posting fee would be okay.

No, gold and item duping shouldn’t be built into the game intentionally by the dev team.
No you did not. If you had specified a minimum you wouldn’t be able to get less than that.

Yes, she did. The crafter took the commission and gave her what she didn’t ask for. Why is there a “Notes for the crafter” if people are ignoring it? What’s the point of it?

The crafter gave what she commissioned and paid for. If I ask for a skyscraper in the delivery instructions for my pizza, I’m not entitled to a skyscraper. I’m only entitled to the item I ordered and paid for.
It allows you to communicate. Perhaps you are looking for a wand, so you list your enchanted gilded/runed crest and also mention “Hey, I’m looking for someone who can use this on an R5 wand” and the crafter who fills the public order can message back “I can do that”, then you write a personal order. It doesn’t invent restrictions on the order.

I agree that it’s dumb the system doesn’t allow people to specify the quality of the craft they ask for.
But knowing that, it’s also dumb of you to not use personal orders. If you want a specific quality and don’t use the system made for it, then don’t do it. You’re not any smarter or better than every other party you point your finger at in this story. You actually have full control over the outcome and you consciously decided to risk it. Let me ask you, why? Crafters are actively fighting in a pool of jello to craft everybody’s stuff there’s no way you can’t find someone.
Look, I know that you are adverse to reading, but that still doesn’t make you a victim of anything. People not reading the in-game quests and explanations is nobody’s fault but their own.
