There’s no reason not to have min on all orders. It’s nothing more than punishing you for not having high end guild friends.
I get why they have ranks, but it wasn’t a well thought out purpose for them to the mass public.
Everyone wants the highest rank anyway for everything from materials to crafted items, so why even bother?
Serves you right. On a public work order I would never ever use my own items to ensure t5 unless the work order payment was pretty decent. You could and should have asked for it in trade chat to find someone who can guarantee t5.
I feel like you dont unserstwnd how many people are inline in your trade chat sitting there waiting. I jave never had to waitfor a work order more than 30 seconds. I typically get spammed by 3 people as soon As I ask for an item.
I find it weird how you did not specify how much you paid or what tier items you used for your craft. Inconveniently left that information out
This is what pisses me off the most. I tip 1k gold for every craft, I ask nicely what I want, and when I don’t get it and I message the person who did it it’s just some form of what you said. It’s stupid.
I agree, if you can’t follow the instructions given in the note, don’t bother wasting my time and my resources.
I LOATHE this work order and profession system. It’s just not worth the headache. Professions shouldnt be a mini game.
if you valued your time and resources you wouldn’t be trying to get r5 from a public order
I won’t lie, this actually sounds completely reasonable. Though I will say, you dont need to be anywhere close to high end to have a huge amount of crafting skills at this point.
I also think the idea of forcing public orders to always be quality restricted to max is actually dehumanizing because it treats the services provided by other players purely as a means to an end with no regard for the current skill level investment of the crafter taking the order.
Even if it is this very small interaction, this small push to have players communicate about their goals and skills is still a significant role play element in an otherwise increasingly isolated gameplay loop.
This is not strictly punishment for not having elite friends, it encourages you to expand your social circle within a living game world, a process that should be encouraged rather than obliterated by systemically encoded rules.
People that fulfill public orders have no incentive to craft T5. It’s actually quite the opposite since they can craft whatever they want and still get rewarded for it. I don’t even think public orders should exist in it’s current iteration because all it does is create a space where people are taken advantage of.
And the people that think this is an acceptable occurrence are mistaken.
That’s how it works. If you want specific quality, you use Personal Order. It’s a Learn2play issue.
I bet you are one of those people who tip like garbage and put in lower rank mats, expecting miracles.
Because if you COULD do that it would a) make private and guild orders mostly redundant and b) would encourage and reward crafting bots or work order camping.
Bottom line… public crafts are there for stuff you don’t care what quality you end up with. If you actually want a rank 5 craft, go find a crafter and send him a private work order.
How did you survive the old days of old crafting when ya needed hear and had to ask people to craft it … It’s not that hard to socialize and ask. I’m sure there is forums or a discord just for that reason lol. Laziness was added to retail over the years and people are becoming more and more entitled it feels like. I don’t play retail I quit after df cause it’s just started to go downhill imo. Although if I did play I would spend the time to actually find a crafter able to make a r5 for me and personal order it for my own peace of mind. Anything public is asking to get scammed in your opinion of things.
Well, the entire crafting system is garbage and it is why a lot of people quit the game. It’s overly complicated, you have to sit in trade and spam and\or watch trade non stop to get s chance at personal orders, and we’ve had multiple players come back to guild from several expansions ago and quit within two weeks out of frustration (crafting and too many currencies}. Blizz knew this was broke in dragonflight and didn’t do anything to fix it for tww, don’t trust the white knight replies…
Exactly, nailed it
You want fancey craft tip bigger
You clearly don’t play on a small server nor do you care about others that play on a small server.
Is very rude to i saw a craft older for 5k was about to craft it when i read the note saying max stat plz so i cancel it cuz iam not db but a few days ago i put boot and i note if you cant do 606 plz ignore them but they craft 599anywY , 606 is like like 350 of consentration yet they took it to bad cant report it and get u money back and taken feom them
For filling your order? Of course not. If you want to set a minimum rank, use a crafting order that allows that.
I used the public orders for unlocking mogs/toys, or crafting first bonus. That way, I wouldn’t have a bad rep.
Agree the system was not built right.
Also never get into a reply match with people that have 9k+ posts on these forums. They have nothing going on in life and just sit here all day. Good luck
Imagine not knowing how to use the system and then complain on the forums.
