I mean

Other than stating that if you knowinly take an order thats requested at x rank but cant do it, youre pretty scummy, ive not said anything to the contrary regarding personal vs public :stuck_out_tongue:

LFG is a path of least resistance.

what games have you developed?

When I sit to play WoW, I have a list of things to accomplish. Waiting for someone to bless me with their crafting presence takes away the time I have to do everything else.

then level the profession yourself. no more waiting!

How much did you tip?

then use the public order system thats why its there… if you want that max rank though it will take just the slightest ammoutn of effort

Were you even around when LFG was implemented and how it’ll “break the game”?

Not irrelevant, you just choose to “la la la” about it.

Then why even have the items in the public order system if we aren’t meant to use it?

Wrong. They are built around different use cases which have been stated repeatedly. Your argument is logically flawed both by not understanding a dev’s job and then expanding based on a false claim.

When LFG was first implemented, the preferred method of forming a group was still trade chat.

where does the sentence you quoted say you aren’t meant to use it? please show us

It didn’t break the game in the least. But it also didn’t run contrary to the design intent of instances.

Everquest II had a cross-crafting system. People were able to do their own crafting with mats placed on the broker. A far, far better system than this because you didn’t have to beg people to make stuff.

you don’t in wow either. you can learn profs on your alts

Again, the Patron system actually does this.

So…not wrong.

Commonly used for crests, treatise and all other items which don’t require a rank.
But yea you should be able to put a rank on public orders, only reason I think they’re not is to inflate prices/cater to the crafter gameplay.

Emphasis mine. Nobody uses trade anymore.

Everything I said in what you quoted was factually correct.

Do you not understand that people can understand the intention behind the way it is and think that it should be changed?

I understand how it works currently perfectly, if it were changed in the way I and many other suggest, it would be better for a lot more people.

It is your failure to understand why it would be better for many people because you don’t personally have an issue using it the way it is.
