Asked for T5, got T4. Now I have to waste acuity for a recraft

based on your knowledge of their codebase?

sheesh. people on these forums can’t shut up about the “spaghetti code” and how any change is going to break 300 things, but when it’s a change they want, suddenly it’s simple and easy and won’t take any time at all.

why? you have the options available to you. you are the only one who fails to understand that the only difference between public and personal is speaking with someone. so WHY? the only thing i can come up with is your lazy or anti social which one is it?

Adding quality limits to public orders likely requires very little coding. It’s probably just changing a simple flag since the only reason you can’t do it is because the UI element is hidden when you make a public order.

The orders themselves likely function exactly like any other order, they just don’t give you the ability in the UI to set a certain variable when making a public order. They could likely enable the ability to do this in 5 minutes of “development time.”

The reason we don’t have it is a choice not a technical hurdle or time limitation.

Because in this case it already exists, not once, but twice.

You are simply assuming it will be difficult when there is more evidence that the majorty of the work is probably already in place.

You have the right to say I don’t know the code, but my position is based on way more evidence then your simply assumption that doing anything will be complicated and take away development time.

How about a compromise?

If you are right and it takes away development time, we don’t do it.

But if I am right, and it won’t remove a lot of development time, we do it.

Deal?

There are tons of people with Trade off for a number of reasons depending on the server. So allowing for crafters, like guild recruitment, to post ads would be nice. This would also allow for crafters to list prices, regents they offer, and tiers they can craft to. Honestly this is just a personal wish list of mine.

It works for Patron orders, so there’s your answer.

If youre going to try and claim its harassment to call bad people bad people, you could at least not call people karens in the same breath.

Calling people karen is harassment XD

what would the point of doing any personal order be if you could set quality in public? just don’t interact with people in an MMO derp.

Public orders are for fast completion, not for max quality. That’s it.

If you want a guaranteed R5 craft, you have to go to personal or guild orders. You can put anything you want in the note box but a lot of people going through public orders won’t read it or care, click accept, craft, complete and won’t bother with using concentration.

You don’t interact with people when you use the AH derp

you looking at a UI element and saying “these things are the same” is not evidence

If you have a friend that will do the crafting cheaper?

If you want to do it yourself and send yourself a personal order?

Was that supposed to be a tricky question?

You do realize that my ability to use a public order with a minimum quality setting has zero impact on your ability to spam chat?

You seem to fundametally believe that not only is your preferred way the best way, but it must always be the way that everyone else does it even when it has no impact on you.

That’s why I wonder if you also hate LFG, pvp solo ques, and well, perhaps even the AH because people can post things instead of spamming. Do you also consider LFG and posting things on the AH as lazy and anti-social?

/2 LF [Insert Item] R5. Tipping x. First to whisper.

Literally all it takes and don’t even have to respond back.

your not having something made for you by someone else using the ah derp.

Answer this question:

If you knew it wouldn’t take much development time, would you be ok with it?

Oh? There are plenty of items made by professions on the AH derp

you still dont get it. its not about the ability to spam chat is about interacting with others and not having it be a souless experience.

Because it’s an MMO and they want people to socialize.

depends how you define “much” but sure, why not, go nuts.

but again, they gave their reasons for why the system works the way it does. they’re not going to change it just because.
