Asked for T5, got T4. Now I have to waste acuity for a recraft

They can, they just need to use it.
Trade and Trade(Services) can both be put to that end.
I see people doing it all the time whenever I meander through a capital, people advertising their professions and what they can make, sometimes with a bit of personal creative flare.

So you cant actual argue the point and have to move goalposts from how a system works and using it incorrectly and getting mad at it, to…social interactions? Lol

Shows your validity

Oh noes you waited a whole 20 minutes and no one jumped up to help you. Welcome to wow where hundreds of messages go through constantly and yours probably got lost in the sauce, or you wanted too much for too little. Simply because you didn’t get what you want the instant you snapped your little fingers doesn’t mean something was wrong. Have a little patience.

Even then point stands, put in the time to find a crafter or quit whining if you don’t want to use the tools available to you.

Also on the point above about not being able to fill max quality orders, that wasn’t ever the case in TWW anyway. Many people got ahead in knowledge right away using various acuity shuffles and could easily hit rank 5 immediately.

Now, before the raid opened, some people put up orders for items that required recipes that dropped in the raid so they were actually unfillable at any quality. Blizzard didn’t care, you could still put up the order before the raid opened.

Right… Which is why the system is broken to allow this.

As I stated, I NEVER have and never will use the public order system. So no, it’s not me being butthurt. I saw the flaw from the get go

If they are picky about the group they get they already have that option. LFG is for people who want low effort and aren’t picky about who they play with.

The point of personal orders is that you have to designate the person. Like the order only goes to the specific person.

Public orders are set up to be available to everyone.

Thus, you use public orders when you don’t have/know a specific crafter for whom to send the order. I assume the people spamming chat are those who don’t already know someone that can do it for them.

kind of effed up that players cant specify quality in their public work orders but npcs can lmao

+Also you’re clearly trolling now so I’m done engaging. Look what happens when you get social on an MMO :stuck_out_tongue:

You told me you don’t want to have a minimum quality setting because it removes social interactions. Thus, I assume you must be against all system that diminish social interaction?

crazy, maybe find a good crafter to do that then instead of leaving it up to some scrub with 50 skill…

I contest that a can of soda can earn a PhD at all.
It’s absurd!

Dude get over your entitled self. You’re not entitled to a specific quality of craft just because you exist. You want to guarantee a specific level, find a crafter and work out a deal. Until actual resources or gold changes hands you’re not entitled to anything. See again, you’re not getting minimum orders on public stuff because people like yourself will just demand top quality and want to pay nothing. Then you’ll just come back here and whine your orders aren’t getting filled. Especially when you realize that adding minimum quality on public orders drives the costs up because it limits competition. In fact you’re already doing it.

of course she’s a woman. the patient is her son!!

The fact that you can easily get an alt to make rank 5 of almost any kind of craft in a week is actually an argument in favor of public crafting orders with quality limits.

Why would we want to push people into just crafting everything for themselves rather than just make the market more accessible?

I say that as someone with a dozen crafting alts that does in fact make myself whatever I want at max quality.

This is the kind of person who assumes people are awful which not reading the thread and getting their answers.

It’s interesting how you frame this conversation. Your comments come off as not just critical, but also dismissive of others’ experiences and desires. It seems you believe that wanting a certain quality of craft is inherently entitled, but that perspective overlooks the collaborative nature of creative work.

When you assert that people should just find a crafter and negotiate, it implies a lack of empathy for those who may not have the means or connections to do so. Your tone suggests a belief that if someone isn’t satisfied, they’re simply demanding too much without recognizing the hard work and investment involved on both sides.

Moreover, labeling those who seek quality as “demanding top quality and wanting to pay nothing” seems a bit reductive. Many people are willing to invest in quality, but the conversation should also consider what’s fair for both creators and consumers. Your approach comes across as egotistical—assuming that your perspective is the only valid one—while ignoring the broader context of collaboration and mutual respect in any craft.
