Ashes of alar prio

I’d say give it to the guy farming soul shards every week to summon the raid while also running people’s alts for free through old dungeons while also giving out loans

There was a warlock in my guild like that back in the day. Name was Bindo backwards.

Because it’s such a rare drop and it doesn’t do anything other than look pretty…yeah most guilds will do a roll off for any core raiders

TK Gbids are gonna be tight when that drops though

Cosmetic items are on open role for all participating the raid with no exceptions, unless they are informed before the raid that you’d like to discriminate and they aren’t gonna be on the roll … which should result in them telling you (Mod Edit: removed)or something with that context and type /gquit before that raid …

It’s going to the Raid Leader’s girlfriend.

Shadow priest prio ofc.

It was an obviously over the top response, of course nobody would delete it. I wasn’t ever very interested in ashes tbh.

I think a guild master should take this mount.

If it’s hard reserved for someone, loot counciled, open roll, or w/e it doesn’t really matter. As long as everyone in the raid agrees before hand on loot distribution rules there shouldn’t be a problem.

I personally don’t like the mount because it gives me a headache with how bright it is. That being said, I may just go against the grain with whatever is decided.

If they want to give it to a certain individual I will try to get the masses stirred up saying we need to open roll for fairness. Then of course say pass after everyone starts rolling. If they want to open roll then I am going to ask that they just give it to the biggest team player in the raid group, either the raid lead or the guy that always shows up handing out consumables.

jk I will be a hermit in the corner with my mic on mute

This type of thing is why I prefer personal loot. You get it or you don’t. No politics. gg.

Seems obvious that a flying mount should go to druids first since they will use it the least

TLDR: Please justify me as a GM looting this mount without giving my guildmates any chance at it.

I was lucky enough to loot the first Ashes on my server back in the day followed by Eldarion a few months later. We used a free roll for everyone in the raid because… it was fair to everyone who contributed to the kill.

Only people that know why the mount is in-game and the story behind it should be able to roll.

Wasn’t it like a make a wish thing for a dying kid?

I think you better decide how you’re going to handle it before it actually drops. Try to play some clique game about why no else gets it after the fact is a good way to create drama that could end a guild.

Decide beforehand so everyone is aware. Otherwise you messed up and risk your guild over a mount. Cause for some it won’t be about the mount, it’ll be about the shady behavior and the loss of trust.

we will gold bid it off to buy whatever we need most, either crafted resist gear or consumes. If we are in a position that we are set on those things we will split the gold among the members.

Not in my guild we do a bit of a mix mounts and BOEs get rolled off and we actually see what class needs what if the class passes it gets rolled off. It’s a quasi loot council but we don’t use dkgp. We are more concerned with what betters the raid as a whole. I’ve raid led and been a guild master I’ve rolled off many mounts I could have kept ae with gear out priority is get our tanks geared then our healers and then our dps.
