I wouldn’t mind if they did seasons of classic and maybe you’d get a prestige tabard or something that reflected the number of seasons you’ve hit 60 or something.

Because I want my levels and gear?
I don’t expect to be allowed to transfer until late – I just want to be able to combine later so we don’t have multiple dead Classic Vanilla servers or so I’m not stuck on the dead one while one theoretically becomes Classic plus.
I have no interest in raiding anyway.
U entirely miss the point of fresh servers and automatically want an advantage over people that reroll fresh because u want your gear.
How about NO!!!

Classic Forever was a pipe dream from its inception. There’s a reason why private servers die off or move onto TBC a few months after Naxxramas. Many on here tried warning you guys that only a niche portion of the playerbase would actually want to raid Naxxramas forever, but you went on and bought the clones anyways like the good little paypigs that you are.

Plenty of people just want fresh every year or two because the journey is the best WoW experience. Nothing wrong with that.
I don’t know many who wanted Classic Forever.
Andlul many pservers didn’t die off and people moved to TBC. They moved to the new fresh, clearly barely touched them yourself with this kind of statement.
Sorry for not being hyper-specific in that the new fresh killed off the previous Vanilla realm. Some more recent servers did progress into TBC (and plan on going into WotLK), however, and remained relatively successful.

With the surveys taken in the summer I do believe Blizzard may move toward (maybe not exact) but seasonal servers or accelerated phase releases. Their survey had options of 22 months like original Classic, 12, 6, etc.
FRESH is a good drug.

Just last night after burning out in TBC on honor grinding I played on this alt that I had remaining on DD vanilla, to my surprise there’s still a handful of people there and they’re reasonably friendly. I feel some hesitation to keep playing on the old servers because I don’t know what the fresh servers will actually be like.
However until then I suppose you have to be the change you want to see and for the time being I think I’ll tough it out on old deviate delight, all you really need are a few good people and a fun game to relax to I suppose.
Also you can use LFG channel without tons of spam which is cool.

Yea I logged into Mankrik pve and Faerlina pvp.
One had 8 people in Org from different realms too. The other had 9.
Classic feels very dead. I ran around barrens in an attempt to find one of the 5 people online there when /whod. Could not find them.
The reality is FRESH will always have players for obvious reasons until later phases come in. I feel they need to merge these servers once p6 is out for a period of time creating a cluster where everyone can play if other FRESH appear.

While we’re at it, let me copy my TBC character to the Classic Fresh servers too.
No - I want to be able to tranfer over after Naxx is done with.

Let me clarify again what I want.
I want to be able to merge with the server late on so instead of having two “finished” Vanilla servers we have one.
I don’t care about raiding. I went to MC twice and ZG once during Classic Vanilla.
I care about not having the players splintered all over the place.

Betting it’ll be like D3 where your seasonal characters can be sent over to Era after a set time. Just $19.99 baby, you can have it all! 
I really wonder how fresh is going to play out if that is the route they go, TBC is my fav but the boosts killed it for me. One thing I noticed, Horde has just about no pop on Era servers, PVP realms are dead but the PVE alliance on both West and east - 150+. Weird.
Merge a few months after P6 drop I could see but who knows how they will work it. Maybe a ladder type setup where it dumps characters onto the Era servers when season is over. Would be neat, guess we shall see.
Again u are clearly missing the point of the definition of fresh servers.
Yea but the concept of a fresh servers is where everyone starts at level 1 with no gear. Then classic+ will be later and you can utilize your other character on classic+.
To me “fresh” is beside the point for me.
My only concern is being on the server that is either of the following in the LONG RUN (not when it’s brand new and fresh.
- The Vanilla server where people stay (or stay the most) until the end of time.
- The Vanilla server that becomes Classic plus, however unlikely.
