As a transgender player

i dunno. someone brought it up in a reply

That is when they are transgendered.

When a trans person uh… transitions… they become that gender.

Someone who hasn’t transitioned yet can still be trans, someone who is cisgendered identifies with their gender given at birth.

Lmao :running_woman:

It was in bad taste and i am saying it as a non white guy. Even i found it uncalled for. But that topic is discussed to death so yeah no point beating it.

I firmly believe if a group of people were intent on finding SOMETHING, there are very few of us that could not be painted in a certain light when taken without context. And we aren’t going to see that until it happens, as we know what we meant.

But as you said that horse is glue.

I could never take someone punching down seriously.

I think the problem is the ammo it gives. Otherwise that stuff was…well

I laughed out loud

Fortunately, punching up or down is not included in the definition of racism- that’s only a factor in a subset, or part of racism called systemic or power-based racism. So you don’t have to worry about it - it’s just simply racism.

The sudden care about that particular ism reminds me of

https://www.reddit.com/user/N8theGr8/comments/8xq8sg/5_july_2018_the_day_reddit_starting_caring_about/

ik it’s reddit but it is worth an read. very entertaining.

I see zero posts on these forums for those things. People seem to be much inclined to complain about any sort of LGBT inclusion vs the usual stuff.

Just look at all the complaints about Garrosh, Sylvanas, etc. These are based on their tokenization as poorly written villians, victims of the writing staff.

I wasn’t actually thinking about WoW though. More… Jar-Jar Binks.

I feel like most of this thread shows why everyone thinks gamers are either A) Ignorant college kids who get offended by everything or B) Ignorant Walmart greeters with strong opinions who get offended by everything

As a transgender person I have to wonder why this thread is still up.

Headbutts the thread.

I met his voice actor… pretty cool guy.

Completely off topic, but yeah.

This thread could have had twenty replies and died peacefully if transphobes could keep their typing fingers to themselves

I love Ahmed Best!

The one boon of the job I had in my last life (ie before I became a SAHM) is I got to meet some ‘famous’ people.

I know.

I hadn’t checked this thread in 12 hours and so many bad takes.

Ok so give me the most logical explanation for it that you can find.
And “they just feel uncomfortable in their own body” is not an answer

Again, nobody is deathly afraid of them.
