Thank you blizzard for this step in the right direction for LGBTQ Representation.
I haven’t started my hormone therapy yet and surgery is a long way off, but it’s these little moments of support that makes things like managing and surviving body dysphoria and daily transphobia managable.
This is giong to sound disengenious, and I’m probably going to get hate for this but…
Who cares?
And I mean this in the nicest way possible. You’re a person. You shouldn’t have to cling on to something like that.
Surely there’s more to your personality and humanity than just your sexuality, it neither makes you inferior nor superior to anyone else, you’re just as much of a person as we are.
Please, do not let this be the only defining feature you have, and show everyone how normal it should be to be anything within the LGBTQ community.
The lore would actually support it since Chromie is implied to be a male dragon (her full name is Chronormu which is a male name) but she prefers a female form, female pronouns and never uses her original name anymore.
I’m mostly saying this out of kindness. We shouldn’t care what someone identifies as or how they feel, because it should be just as normal as just having lungs or feet or hands.
I’m merely warning them that they shouldn’t cling on to what they are too tightly, because I want them to express themselves as a person and not having to stick by their identifiers.
I wanna know their hobbies, their favorite foods, what they watch on netflix. It shouldn’t matter what gender they are.
They are likely referring to the existence of Pelagos. To my knowledge, the customization changes don’t do anything either for or against trans representation.
