As a Crafter, I deserve higher commissions

Looks like we’ll be needing a business associations in game where only they can make the pricing of the good because the commission are are unregulated . Do we have to go this far?

How tf is it fun to be a crafter? Everyone undercuts you and people are cheap af.

280k month if $20 is 170k for a Token is less than $40 a month. Who tf is going to do that?

Literal bots, that’s who.

Have fun killing crafting work orders by taking cheap labor, another failed expansion feature by Blizzard who didn’t think about how cheap this player base is :man_facepalming:

Considering my order got filled within 5 minutes of posting it, I’d wager tons of folks.

The point is because it is significantly more interesting than it used to be, it is more widely approachable, being specialised means that you can make things more efficiently and profit (but not to the degree that you get a free bloody wow token per craft like you seem to think).

Crafting doesn’t exist to make you rich just by engaging with the system. If you could get rich just by virtue of spending a week at it, it would be unilaterally the first thing every player engaged with.

The profit is there, and many people can and will make an utter fortune off it. I won’t be one of those people, and it certainly seems you won’t be either.

Put it this way: anything you have access to today, you got within the space of ONE WEEK of the launch of the expansion. That means that literally everyone else looking to acquire the things you think are worth much more than 2k gold, literally anyone else in the game can also level a character, level a profession, and be capable of crafting, in less than one week. Then, they are capable of recrafting it, forever.

If you think anything you are making right now is worth more than pennies, you have a grossly overinflated sense of the worth of your time.

At least be good at trolling.

Yeah I mean that’s proving my point, everyone here loves exploiting cheap labor. Crafting is a joke and Blizzard lied that they cared about it.

They should’ve just killed professions off, people are working sweatshop wages making it unsustainable for everyone else.

It isn’t there to help you get insta tokens. It’s there to help each other with professions. It also helps you complete your 5 commissions for the week.

It should be lucrative, or there’s no point.

Yeah, it seems like you’re upset about a RL profit now. Which nobody is going to sympathise with you on.
Bye Felicia

It’s not a bloody job; it’s a videogame. If you aren’t enjoying it, why the hell are you doing it? Just stop.

again, its only been a week. You’re looking for end game results at the start of the expansion. Right now literally everyone is a crafter, literally everyone can make the same gear. There hasn’t been enough time for people to really level up their professions and become unique. Why would anyone spend 50k on a piece when the gear itself isnt that useful. You’re also not looking at the fact that everything from next weeks content will be an upgrade. Nobody wants to spend gold when there’s no telling if it’ll be wasted on the first raid kill.

right now ya, ATM everyones a low tier crafter and everythings an upgrade, just wait. Theres WAY more people crafting than people that need crafted gear. When people start looking to fill gaps in their orders you’ll see it change. We have 20 crafts a day at the moment. That seems like a ton right now but they recharge slowly. If you have only 4 available crafts on a particular day you probably wont waste them on a low ball offer. Sure, someone may come along and do everything for nothing but thats no different than what we already have now. Give it chance at least

It’s got a purpose, and it’s not to make you rich in game. It’s to help complete crafting. To level professions and for rep.

I’m using WoW token as a metric, not the end goal.

A videogame where people are exploiting cheap prices and where I enjoy crafting but can’t even profit from it due to the cheap labor and no regulations.

That’s what they literally advertised the work order and revamp as. It’s supposed to bring people back to crafting, instead it just encourages undercutting.

Nothing in what they said talked anything about allowing you to rip people off to pay for your tokens.

Your enjoyment is dependant on it being profitable in a fashion that it never was and never will be. You don’t enjoy it as it is. It isn’t a system where you will EVER be paid for your time in the fashion you expect. Realign your expectations, or move on.

Says the guy exploiting cheap labor prices and killing off work orders.

Like I said, a massive L to Blizzard for not curbing this behavior.

Sounds like the real problem is you aren’t good at crafting. Try a dungeon maybe you’ll be better at that part of the game.

Dude, you’re playing a VIDEO GAME, you remember that, right? This isn’t a job, it’s supposed to be fun, enjoyable content. The way you’re talking, it makes it sound like you’re trying to make money off of the game. If that’s the case, go become a streamer or competitive gamer. You’re not gonna make real life wages in a video game.

op if you think blizzard would have done anything they would have with the legos in shadowlands.
like others have said 2k tip is better then nothing.

if you dont like it craft the item and put it on the ah
