Emergent behavior is created by the players. Even on a pve server a rogue like me can stir things up by sneaking around killing horde npcs.
But if you want to stay on a story track and within the velvet ropes, yes, do as you’re told, by all means.

Cause there is some rule among you “adults” that no one can talk about something they want to?
Thanks for calling me a kid… makes a 50 year old man feel loved!
ANTIFA is looking for a new leader… perhaps you should apply since you clearly believe no one can comment on anything unless they are directly engaged by your kingship!
Lol, what?
How is tbc the only possible thing we can do moving forward? How does that make me thin skinned?
Rejection? Lol what?
You clearly don’t read any forums threads then.
If it’s on the forumz then it must be valid … right?
Skip TBC straight to Wrath. I think it’s my favorite
So again… come at us and lets discuss your grand plan for what moves us forward… I have seen you arguing for this great mountain of ideas we can have after classic…
And yet… not a single idea from you. We are still waiting… come on with the plan!!!
Breaking News!!:::
Thrall takes in thousands of starving orphans and encourages the entire Horde to feed and house them!
Also admits that teaming with the Trolls was a bad idea, as panned out in BFA!!

In all your 50 years you never learned to scroll up? 50 years still making knee jerk reaction though, really? It’s alright for a guy to call someone an idiot but god forbid I call a guy a kid for saying that.
But I realize you’re a tBC bandwagoneer so it doesn’t really matter what anyone says to me, you’re going to find a way to parrot their response. I’ve only been uncivil when you apparently holier than thou folks take it to that level. And yeah, gtfo of here with Antifa, that’s like you’re go to insult in every forum, lol.
hmm. could do these things to bring it more in line with what people want:
no horde pally option. no alliance shaman option.
still can collect flying mounts but they are only usable at the flight master (iotw, automated fp to fp)
(controversial warning) make high elves and draenei slightly different. if alliance, belves are high elves instead and start in human starting area. if horde, belves are felblood elves (the ones in sunwell) instead, who are taller and redder than belves/high elves, (and start in silvermoon as per usual). and draenei are draenei (and start in exodar per usual) on alliance and eredar on horde and start in orc starting area. the eredar are taller and redder than normal draenei.
so you would have 4 new races (high elves, felblood elves, draenei and eredar) but the zones would remain the same as tbc.
Ya… calling people a “kid” because you think it makes you a bigger, badder person is pathetic…
Not sure what bandwagons have to do with your attempted slander and bullying but whatever…
TIL you can buy flight in the cash shop.
“If you don’t like it don’t fly” is a garbage argument. If flight exists you have to use it or else you are put way behind everyone else.
Also not doing arenas doesn’t mean they don’t balance classes for arena because guess what, that’s exactly what happens. Try looking beyond the tip of your nose.
Blood Elves
Assuming you mean being in the horde and not their actual existence; I get the complaint but they’ve explained numerous times why they did this.
Flying
Became a much bigger problem later on after Wrath than the over-exaggerations people like to make about the early iterations of it.
Easy summon to dungeon
I mean, it’s no different if you have a warlock in your group, 2 of the 5 people could just choose to stay put where they are, but some people still have to travel there regardless. Back in the day, most of the time people still traveled to the dungeon on my server in TBC.
Catch up gear
This exists in Vanilla too, and just like Vanilla, TBC didn’t add it in until late in the game, the Sunwell patch if I remember correctly.
Arena
I can understand this one, mostly due to balancing decisions later on, but lets not act as if balance in this game has ever been that great, especially in Vanilla. Battleground participation was a bit less too, but cross server BG’s were already added into the game by the end of Vanilla.
Dailies
Sorry, I’m not seeing the issue here. Dailies didn’t become a huge issue until Blizzard put a million of them in the game in MoP. I can understand not liking them after a while, but Blizzard never went overboard with them imo back in TBC compared to later expansions.
Cross-faction shaman/paladin
I will never for the life of me understand this complaint. The only thing I can think of is not having these classes on both factions entices more people to try out said faction, but even that I think is a rather flimsy argument. Here’s the deal, both these classes have always existed on both factions in the lore, Dwarf Shaman were always a thing, and it baffles me that it took until Cata to get them added into the game. On the horde side, it’s the same for Blood Elves and Paladins. So this argument never made any sense to me, it’s essentially people saying: “Even though this makes sense lore wise, I don’t want it in the game because reasons.”
Anyway, as a whole, I feel threads like this just have people listing things they dislike, but plenty of other people like. That’s not a reason for TBC to not exist. As I’ve also said before in other threads where people try and argue for TBC not existing, it’s hypocritical. You get what you want after being told “no” or “you don’t want this” or “it’s just nostalgia” and now you turn around and do the same thing to people that want TBC? How some people can’t see that they’re being hypocrites when they do this astounds me. How are you any better than the people you constantly argued against to make Classic a reality? I don’t get it.
Lol, alright sir. You have no room to talk.
Reasons why I personally hate TBC:
For everything I can think of that TBC did right, it did at least two things wrong. Some of these bone-headed design decisions still plague retail to this day .
It would introduce The Devil into the Game; Flying!
Sarcasm off
Lol, alright sir. You have no room to talk.
At least you stopped calling me a kid…
and I do have plenty of room to talk… You don’t see me calling people “kid” to try and make myself feel better and more relevant on some 15 year old forums…
come on man… let it go… you screwed up and everyone can see it… trying to now put the blame on the person that called you out is just pathetic…
Became a much bigger problem later on after Wrath than the over-exaggerations people like to make about the early iterations of it.
What? It does the same thing in TBC that it does in subsequent expansions. You’re drawing an arbitrary distinction.
I mean, it’s no different if you have a warlock in your group, 2 of the 5 people could just choose to stay put where they are, but some people still have to travel there regardless. Back in the day, most of the time people still traveled to the dungeon on my server in TBC.
Except you needed a Warlock for that, and the Warlock needed to remember to have shards.
Retail didn’t become a shallow shell of an MMO overnight; it took thinking like this, over many, many years, to slowly erode away at it.
orry, I’m not seeing the issue here. Dailies didn’t become a huge issue
Let me stop you there. I felt they were extremely antithetical to what an MMO should be about from the moment I experienced them in TBC. That kind of synthetic garbage non-content feels more akin to Facebook gaming than an MMO.
I will never for the life of me understand this complaint.
You don’t understand why faction identity is important?
At least you stopped calling me a kid…
Well I don’t want to offend/hurt your feelings.
and I do have plenty of room to talk… You don’t see me calling people “kid” to try and make myself feel better and more relevant on some 15 year old forums…
You also don’t care to read context. I was having an argument in which someone called me an idiot. I said, ok kid. Because only a child has to insult someone in an argument. Like I said though, I’ll be uncivil if you are.
Also, you’ve been a d*** to anyone who’s disagreed with you in all your posts.
come on man… let it go… you screwed up and everyone can see it… trying to now put the blame on the person that called you out is just pathetic…
This is gold. I find it hard to believe you’re 50 and act like this. But I guess WoW kids did eventually grow up. Also, you’re the only one who seems offended I called another guy a kid. You’re a mess man, lol.
Holy sht, thanks.
The druid tree is AMAZING. Much better than the classic one.
