Yes. This is a special edition re-release, not a restart of the sequence. Blizz has more sense than to fragment the player base even further.

Vanilla either dies either evolves. TBC or a totally different path.

Doesn’t have to fragment anything since the whole vanilla will either evolve either wither away.

Exactly my point. People think WoW is just about Raids. Maybe so in Retail, but the amount of content a good guild or community can create is vastly more appealing to me, personally, than raiding or dungeons could ever be.

Agreed. Catering to e-sports and streamers has really tossed a nasty waft in all the other player-types direction.
Glad it didn’t exist far back as BC.

You do have to love how certain people love to call people “kid” I personally have never understood the slur… I mean does it make you feel bigger or badder or more of an adult by calling someone you know nothing about a “kid?”

I just dont get the community fragmentation argument.

I dont think they would release a TBC server before update 6 of classic

Most likely 70% or more of the players that would move to a TBC server is the people that wont be on classic much more than a couple of years from now if that long even.

It might be even better for classic as it would give some who might otherwise quit classic more reason to keep their sub and go back and forth if they like both classic and TBC .

All I know is many people I’ve chatted with in game are here supporting classic because they want a TBC or Wrath server at some point.

Outside of a few complaints, BC was the bees knees.

Most fun after I quit caring about raiding, WoD by a complete landslide.
