The fact y’all believe in the myth that RMT is just this huge occurrence is astonishing
There is carries being sold by top arena players. Sadly enough that’s how they make a living.
I make a living by selling bridges in the desert, want one?
I mean idk what sort of idiot would pay exuberant amounts of money for an in game achieve but people do, and there always someone to cash in on that.
Not nearly to the numbers that people claim it is happening though.
I guarantee the vast majority of those websites are just scams. Phishing attempts to get access to your account to get your gold, or credit card information.
There isn’t this big cabal that everyone makes it seem like
Ofc no one will confess to it but there has been many names of streamers selling carries in the past.
A handful of guys doing 2s carries does not make the numbers that people are claiming
Nerf every single MS effect that isn’t a cooldown in half, make them all dispelable and nerf healing overall to compensate.
Buff casted hybrid healing.
Increase the cooldowns on a lot of gap closers and nerf instant cast damage from casters.
Nerf all damage cooldowns and make casted abilities threatening in their own right without requiring 14 modifiers to do damage (or just nerf the modifiers while still buffing the baseline abilities). Btw 14 isn’t an exaggeration, that’s how many modifiers there are for Arcane Barrage as an example.
While still making it harder for melee to have 100% uptime on everything melee should do nuclear damage when they do connect.
Rebalance healer mana, it makes no sense that Disc Priest for example literally has twice the baseline mana regen of Holy Priest when they already have such cheap healing.
The prevalence and strength of MS effects coupled with kill windows being tied exclusively to cooldowns has caused the mass exodus of healers either quitting or swapping to DPS.
Nope, i don’t even code.
I look at it simply like this. Why would blizzard dedicate more resources of any kind to the part of the game that gets the least engagement and is arguably the most toxic community in this game. (Especially for new players)
I’d like to see an interview to see what is going on with PvP for s2.
What resources? Recoloring requires as much effort as typing a new number.
Blizzard is to blame for the toxicity, they catered to the antisocial crowd and now we’re all suffering the consequences.
It is a common occurrence, but not at the rating these guys play at.
Nothing, they will delete all brackets, the fun is over. F blizzard!
Hopefully blizzard finds this post, maybe some positive changes would happen. Remember they did say they were monitoring reddit , forums, x, etc at the last blizcon.
Blitz gets its mmr brought in line and the wails will be even more deafening than they were in Verdant.
Yes cos computer geeks are well know to be extroverts, not socially inept or anxious.
Sometimes your arguments are as dumb as your mog.
The idea that only “nerds/geeks” plays games is the most disingenuous argument.
In my line unit there was at least 15 of us that played WoW. From boots to one of the Staff Sgts and a few reg Sgts.
This game thrived on social interaction for the first couple of expansions.
Correct, but don’t pretend ain’t the vast majority. People create lives in the net for a reason.
You act like society as a whole has not become selfish and antisocial. I knew plenty of people who played wow who weren’t antisocial or introverts but that was when wow was really popular.
The game should not be catered to the 0.1% as a whole.
And it’s downfall was lack of content (which we since learned was due to the work environment turning into a pervparty) in a timely manner and pushing systems that killed server communities.
Cata only started dying because their 4.1 patch was 2 5 man dungeons that were reworked raids, with zero other new content.
Which was terrible timing for WoW because that was the same time a new MMO that played very much like WoW came out (Rift).
Massive hyperbole, and ironic since that’s exactly what introducing dungeon que and lfr was.
I think u lack insight on the other side of the coin. Perma declined on dungeons, raids, arenas or rbgs, unabled to do the content was bad and was not due a persons “social skills”, could’ve been a popularity thing on a certain class, or a role, lack of achievements.
