Pre-dungeon que this only happened to individuals on servers that were known trolls, ninjas, and overall .
If you built a negative reputation for being just a giant turd of a human being then you had trouble getting into groups for things.
No one was gate keeping dungeons, and they could have easily introduced the lfr difficulty as âstory modeâ to allow for anyone to see the fights.
And did I miss something about m+ or normal-mythic raiding? Did they add solo que options for them? Or do they still have to find groups to get in? (Redundant question I know the answer)
Just wait, with the amount of crying the GD does daily about m+ I sure they will.
Talking about stuff from 15 yrs ago is pretty pointless.
Letâs pretend lilbulky has no friends online. Skims through arena lfg, lilbulky applies for a few groups but no invites. Lilbulky whispers some of does groups, they laugh and say âno perma duelists thanks lmao!â. Lilbulky makes a group yet only gets a handful of dps challengers apply. Lilbulky decides to accept one of them because he rather play than sit any longer in lfg, but lilbulky gets farmed over and over by other groups with a healer. Lilbulky politely says âI gtg ty for games, may be weâll q laterâ knowingly he wonât ever play with him again.
Lilbulky takes matters onto his own hands and rolls healer, invites are not so rare now but everytime he joins for 3s, 1st loss people bail and leave lilbulky wondering why?
Lilbulky doesnât care what the rating is, lilbulky applies to everything within lilbulkyâs experience from 2300+ down to freshy, lilbulky gets his duelist and then doesnât touch arena for the rest of the season, unless people want to mess around or needs help.
Lilbulky has never once had an issue finding groups, because lilbulky isnât a giant turd to random internet strangers.
Only when your argument falls flat on itâs face and you have to move the goal post
And part of that problem is a lot of them donât have the ability for self reflection.
Iâm not saying I havenât seen some of it on lfg, where first loss and they dip, but a lot of times some people are putting that on themselves.
I mostly agree, but the WoW community has definitely heavily shifted towards impatience in favor of trying to save personal time. It has effected m+, it effects any group based activity. If something begins to look like a waste of their own time, they will leave, even if improvement can be made and wins can still be had. People leave after the first wipe in m+ often enough, people also leave after the first loss in pug 3s.
However, I think just talking/communicating makes people want to stay more, most of my groups last for as long as I am usually willing to go and those groups are also the ones that like to talk about what we can improve to keep winning (even if we lose 1 and win 10). So I def agree that groups disbanding fast can sometimes be a âyouâ problem, but I do think a lot of times that isnât the case.
Every time i read posts like this i remember when blizzard says at start of every expantion ¨and now we are listening to the comunity ¨ ya right. U can get more attetion in a private server post than here that we pay subs to play.
