I only been trying to get the DR tables fixed for what seems to be forever. Lets try this again since the Arena season is here and the original classic WoW bug report has still been unanswered despite reports, support tickets etc.
I know multiple specs/classes reporting incorrect DR to CC/Stun or some CC that should DR and it doesn’t. So if you are experiencing an issue please comment on that and Patch Info or knowledge of how it is supposed to work.
Starting first with the charge DR bug since it effects anyone that plays with a warrior and I know factually how it is supposed to work. Currently Charge is DRing all stuns and it isn’t supposed to DR any. This also is bad in PvE if you have noticed that when a warrior charges your Bash, Hammer or other CC suddenly was put on DR. However in PvP charge is DRing Intercept, Concussion Blow and any other Stun which is wrong.

Now moving onto Rogues and wrong DR with other Classes. If you have felt extra locked down in BGs you aren’t wrong. If a Rogue full Kidney’s you for 6 secs, you trinket that and I use Concussion Blow…well you will receive the FULL 5 sec stun from that. Which kinda screws the point of a PvP trinket. Trinket one 6 sec stun to get no DR on a 5 sec stun while you die.
I don’t play a Rogue and know they have different DR tables so if this is incorrect please let me know. I know Kidney and Cheap share different DRs.
As for specifics of EVERY Class and Spec on how the DR tables are not working as intended in TBC likely due to the Retail client we are on. I can’t factually provide that info as I don’t play every spec or class and didn’t in TBC.
So would appreciate this as a constructive thread for players to list their CC that isn’t working correctly and what DR table it should be on so we can get the proper fixes so PvP isn’t broken.

Haha yea. I actually made a support case in frustration about a month ago after PTR bug reports, this original thread and nothing getting through. The support case was like okay we see your frustration and we CAN SEE your thread on the bug report forums but we can’t do anything but will pass it along. Which likely didn’t get passed along since TBC has about 1,670,345 bugs.
I really have tried to make the game correct and better but Activision just sucked the customer service right out of Blizzard.
Yea it’s likely they won’t fix it since they can’t even get out 9.1 so the DR tables in TBC I imagine don’t matter. However realistically all Blizz has left is it’s die hard Classic community keeping their ship afloat right now. So I think it’s in their best interest to fix something and TBC should be it.
I know, you know and Blizz knows SL and 9.1 is DOA so they better start caring about TBC.
I have been very lenient in my criticism of Blizzard over the years. I have been a loyal Blizzard customer since even before WoW. The amount of bugs in BC and the apparent lack of effort to correct them is pretty disappointing. They really do seem like they don’t care anymore.
Yes I believe that when Classic WoW, Remastered D2 are your best titles then yes. You have already cashed out and trying to get the last bit out of it before calling it quits.
I actually think SL might be the last WoW expansion and if it isn’t…I bet that WotLK Classic comes out before the next one. SL is going down in history as the worst expansion with the longest content drought and still no new patch release date.
It’s because a company is forced to grow and if it’s not growing it’s dying, blizz milked wow and turned it into an esport, they took their wow milk money and made overwatch which after what 10 years it’s claim to fame is fan made pornography? Pathetic and sad, they killed arguably the best franchise in gaming to fund a failed esport shooter.
At this point Blizzard should just start messaging private servers for tips because NONE of the private servers I heard about or played on has any of these issues.
They’ve probably done a great job from an investment standpoint. The problem is the necessity to make money and answer to investors has a way of absolutely murdering passion and creativity. You see it everywhere in our culture, in everything from video games to series of movies.
That’s when I really started to feel embarrassed for Blizzard. Way back in the day it used to be that the private servers were a bunch of buggy nonsense. Now half of them run better than Blizzard servers.
