SWP/ZA gear isnt available since it’s season one. I guess you’ll just have to wait for your welfare epics then.

Once again, a DPS increase is a DPS increase. 3% DPS is not negligible. Item upgrades in Classic which were highly sought after saw fairly similar DPS increases. This doesn’t change in TBC.
Nothing that takes several months to earn and save up for over time is “welfare”.
Things that you literally pick up walking into a revolving door that opens every week with a pinata on the other hand, is welfare epics. Welfare is issued every week and its easy and free. Things that people need to save up for months to obtain are not.
Also remember, these weapons are not BiS, they aren’t super amazing and PvE/Crafted items are MUCH better than these Season 1 pieces. I can see the rating they put on season 3/4 pieces because those pieces were actually really good. But the Season 1/2 pieces were entry level at best. Just like Karazhan, just like Gruuls, just like Heroics.
NOW ITS DIFFERENT.

Hmm, I’m not a big fan of these changes. Basically a major overhaul of the arena system. It’s likely just going to scare people off from participating in arena. Old system was fine imo.
BS or raiding is a must now for season one.
I don’t see the rating being a requirement to wear your gear though. End of season you can’t wear your gear? Makes no sense. I assume it’s just a one time requirement for purchase. After that your good.
S1 Glad is BiS offhand for Enhancement in P1. They are also near-BiS to potentially BiS in P2.
This is the issue with the PvP change for Enhancement. With the “authentic” Kara/BS weapons, and now this, we’re left without options as Shaman are… not great in PvP.

Except they ARE BiS for Dual Wielders for Offhands and Paladin tanks for SPD Weapons.
I understand it’s an increase and it’s beneficial, that doesn’t mean a measly 51 dps amounts to anything special.

Upgrading CTS to gressil is less than 51 dps.

Seriously. If dude put as much energy into pvp as he does into getting mad on the internets he might actually crack that 2k rating.
2050 is miles more difficult than any T4 content.
2050 makes sense when Sunwell is the main raid but no where else in TBC.

Not to mention, this is for PvP gearing. It’s not for the more sought after rewards, and it means the PvP playing field is less level.
