What do you think an enhance pushes in phase 1?
Iām guessing below 1500, so even at 5% thatās 75 dpsā¦
Iām also guessing itās less than 5% for an offhand.

This is in reference to PvE DPS. Since, as explained, Enhancementās only epic offhand is S1 Glad, which has 20 wDPS over the next best option.
The pinned sim in the Shaman discord suggests in BiS 1760 DPS. Dips down to 1681 in a 5 minute fight. 5% is still 5%, that is not negligible.
It might have been for achieving rank 1. Canāt remember tbh.
If you can buy the freaking arena mount from the store I am quitting this game out right on principle.
This coming from a player with a pure PvE history.
For a lot of classes they can just craft a much better weapon via blacksmithing and itāll be miles ahead of the PvP weapons for several seasons (in some cases good all the way through). And these weapons will be accessible pretty quick.
Even Deep Thunder, the midtier crafting upgrade from blacksmithing, is stronger than the T2 2H Mace. Now imagine Stormherald.
I think the requirements on the pvp weapons are not only a joke, they might as well just be cosmetic at this point.
In general Iām for it.
Fewer welfare epics = less player power
Less player power = harder content
And Iām all for harder content. Sorry guis
Stop referring to these as welfare epics. You want welfare epics, go run a couple heroics or Karazhan and walk out with piles of them in less than a day.

Theyāre literally welfare epics. It was gonna be a free epic weapon you got for losing 10 games a week fora few months. Now you actually have to win games so no more welfare. 
That might be even worse for me heh. Like I could get Rival if I put my mind to it. Maybe even Duelist. Glad was already a dream for meā¦ but Rank 1ā¦ yeah Iām not even dreaming of that.
No they wonāt. BS weapons are MH-only until near the final phase, which means we canāt even really make use of it until at the earliest T5. This was in reference to PvE, not PvP.
So far the proc rate for these weapons seems to be extremely low (3-5%) which kills their viability.
TBC is literally the wellfare epic expansion, badge gear in ZA/SWP was unnecessarily inflated. The System introduced with SWP carried over to WOTLK, then it went to 11 in the TOC patch.
Yes you are correct, you cant get gladiator mounts from the store tho.

Again, a 3% DPS increase is not negligible.
For Warriors, sure. For Enhancement? No. Warriors spammed Hamstring hoping for a proc. Shaman will only use a 2h for burst, and the low proc chance combined with lack of spammable attack means itās not worth it.
