Post 1 legitimate reason as to why arena shouldn’t be in sod or st fu and leave.

they never have a reason other than “because muh classic” when in reality is its literally exactly as op described… they can’t crack a rating they feel comfortable having associated with their character.
they think gatekeeping other peoples favorite form of pvp is going to suddenly make these world pvp events they speak of be more common… when in reality they don’t have their events because they don’t make them happen.
Arena is bad gameplay and classic players don’t want it
nope the trinket doesn’t drop and there’s no chest right now which is such a bummer
so dont play it? I think world pvp is bad gameplay so i don’t play it. You realize a tournament for $100k composed of some of the games greatest 3s players took place on classic… there’s a desire to que arenas by a less than insignificant amount of the playerbase.
I like 3v3’s because they’re in a controlled format where you can overcome imbalance with good gameplay (for the most part) and you’re being challenged by other minds rather than overwhelming numbers. You can que into a complete counter but still win if you’re better players… there’s communication, strategy, and actual thought.
I understand the attraction of world pvp because its exciting seeing mass numbers of people running at eachother but there’s quite literally no strategy/comms/thought. It’s just swifty.
Are tank warlocks and healing mages a “classic feel” ? No they’re not, arena is something that promotes activity, it doesn’t exclude anyone. If you don’t want to play it don’t que it.
You might not want rewards for the time you invest in something, but a majority do.

Do, however, add arena wargames. I would love to be able to wargame in arenas with a few friends, or see some organized duels.
Don’t let arenas reset cooldowns though, because then people would juse use them for cd resetting.
Nah Arena ruined PvP in WoW. It did far more harm then good for the game and it’s PvP. The game isn’t supposed to be balanced around a 3 player death match. Most PvPer don’t do Arena and have a resentment for Arena and Esports ruining balancing in the game.
PvP should be balanced and played around large scale battles. PvP should be fought over resources and objectives. It’s an MMO. Arena is the worst format they added too WoW.

You missed the point, classic isnt balanced around small scale pvp like what you get in arena. Classic is a group vs group balanced game.
Even blizzard said in their recent talk about why they are not bringing arena to discovery and one of the reasons was how class balance works in classic for pvp
That being said, i also want arena. I think 5v5 could work

I enjoy 40 man raids and I enjoy arena, why can’t I have it? If you don’t like it, don’t do it… simple.
