Devilsaur, black lotus were and always will be the best wpvp. Because you are pvping for resources/gold. But that’s now nonexistent due to layers and increased spawns

no rating system skirms only and then it can exist. rating only serves to create a market for boosters and RMT. Tournaments can be used for skill expression without any need for rating ever.
Arena pvp has always sucked in WoW. Don’t bring it here.

Meh. I like arenas, but it does seem to move the competitive PVPers. The way that Classic is without arenas, BGs are the main event, and right now with that being 10-man, WSG, that brings its own flavor.
I’m having fun with things the way they are now.
You’re still using your flawed logic, I wouldn’t order a hotdog at McDonald’s. Just the same as I wouldn’t have runes in “classic” but this isn’t “classic” it’s sod which has runes. So why can’t if have arena?

Half the battle is line-of-sighting your opponents.
Casts are halted instantly while melee get to continually train on you.
Healing Solo Shuffle (that’s 6 rounds of solo-queue arena btw for you non-retail noobs) is the worst experience in the entire game.

this is a very strong opinion against arenas. what did they do to hurt you?
i never liked raiding and dislike class balancing done specifically around raiding, but it would be ridiculous for me to want them to remove an activity lots of people enjoy.
Arenas are fantastic if you enjoy pvp. Arenas not only were my favorite thing in WoW for many years but led me to seek out similar pvp experiences in other games-- and not much compares! Wow arenas are pretty unique when it comes down to it, and if they never existed I have no idea what my steam library would look like today as a result.
Mostly just wanted to check you on the “i hate it so nobody should have it” attitude you’re throwing out here. Let folks enjoy what they want.

We need arenas in SOD! Once you get max level for your phase and have most of the gear, just sitting around waiting for BFD every 3 days can get pretty boring.
But with arenas even just a 2v2 arena for each phase would be awesome! Also no crazy rewards needed other than ranking possibly a title for the top players could be pretty cool.
Just to give us something to do once maxed out other than leveling alts then eventually having the same problem… Just waiting for BFDs.

i agree but the cheese potential of a 5 man arcane mage team is questionable
