Are WoW season's to long?

This one is too long, yes. The two mid-season patches being meh really didn’t help. Anniversary update is like a days worth of content unless you care about secret finding stuff(I don’t) and Siren Isle is big meh.

extending beyond february would be horrible

This is draggin for sure

What? This is really taking a long time.
Considering that expansions were expected to be released every year from now on.

And? They already have the solution to this in-game, a measurement showing what your capabilities are. It’s your choice to invite someone with 619 delve gear but 410 IO into your +7 key, just like it would have been if they had geared up through heroic raids but had no idea where the interrupt was on their bar in prior expansions. If you only want to invite people in who’ve cleared at least a +5, you have all the information you need to do exactly that.

Again, going back to 2007 design in 2025 is not the galaxy-brained idea you think it is. There’s already a separate game mode for the people who really want that.

I don’t mind the length of the seasons, just would like better information about when the next season is starting.

That’s how long they’ve always been. Casual Mythic raid guilds need that much time to get CE usually, seeing as the back half of the raids are usually full of 150+ pull bosses.

Standard season but they’ve made changes to M+ and it’s a little bit easier so people complete their milestones quicker. Go explore. If you haven’t farmed cabbages in Pandaria you really didn’t play WoW.

This is an under-realized thing, this season. For Keystone Hero, you used to have to do all the dungeons at +20 (which was max vault rewards key level).

I got KSH this season having only done half the dungeons at +10, which is the new max rewards key level.

They also nerfed the Heroic raid to hell, very early. Heroic Court has no mechanical differences from Normal, since they nuked the fight about a month into the season.

Anybody who “expected” this should buy the Brooklyn Bridge.

Huh, that I didn’t know.

I think that was also the case back in SL except the gear reward stopped at 15?

Shadowlands season 1 vault capped at +14 (although end of dungeon loot increased again at +15) and you needed to do all the dungeons on +15 for KSH.

TWW KSH is MUCH easier than previous expansions. By a ridiculous degree.

Being completely honest, I think a WoW season loses it’s luster within the first like 2.5 months. At that point you probably completed your personal goals and hit the diminishing returns part of gearing where all your upgrades are coming from the Vault specifically which is just timegated RNG. If you don’t care about achievements or mount farming, which I don’t, then the game just kinda fizzles out, the same hold true for my most of my friends since that was about the time they also quit Retail.

So personally, I would say yeah, they last way too long.

And this is why they need to remove the E-Z modes. Nobody was complaining when Black Temple was an 8-month tier, people had plenty to do.

Blizzard has been adding more and more easier and easier modes.
People do them, then stop, basically limiting themselves to the tutorial.
And then they complain there’s “nothing to do” despite there being tons of stuff to do that they refuse to do, because beating E-Z-Cake-Boss gave them the false notion that they’ve “done everything”.

People are treating WoW like a phone game where there’s new stuff every few weeks. Go play a phone game if that’s what you want, perhaps Warcraft Rumble will scratch your itch for warcrafty things.

Towards the end we were just goofing off with it and having a Rogue tank Illidan lol.

At one point/patch in DF it was even easier. KSH and AOTC under a month with a normal pace (this was where I went farming cabbages in Pandaria for the patch’s duration). Right now the pace is fine as long as they push new content faster.

But they’re already pushing faster than they used to.

True. So I guess we need to touch more grass.

They need to stop doing these mega-patches.

The new zone, the new M+ season, and the new raid, should NOT all launch on the same month.

Too much stuff gets lost in the shuffle. People miss things, and then end up just never doing them, because they’re being flooded with new stuff for a couple weeks, and then it feels like a drought for months afterwards.

They need to stagger these things. It’s such a simple fix that would solve so many issues for so many people.
