I’ve been cranking out the delve achievements over the holiday. I think I just need dwarf kiddo to show up in the last delve for his story and I’ll be done.
Or, I’m just in a small raid group that raids one night a week and we just want to have fun. It is a game after all, not a job.
Yea when I look at Legion map with the World Quest Tracker addon there’s like crapton of WQs compared to TWW.
but MC gear was needed for BWL which had gear needed for AQ which had the gear needed for Naxx
I don’t understand why they continue to have both daily quests and world quests in the game. They’re the same thing, except world quests don’t require you to hoof it out to the quest-giver there and back again.
Why does Siren Isle have dailies instead of world quests?
My guild only raids once a week and we finished AoTC in November.
6 months is just fine, anything longer is Blizzard trolling us.
appealing to Joe who logs in once every patch does the quests and laments about how its not like the good ol days then quits without lapsing their sub until the next patch if I were to guess.
I RL a group that runs for 3 hrs once a week; as I said before, if clearing that takes you 9 months, youre dong something wrong
Then logs into classic and sits in town talking to everyone else about how much harder their game is than retail.
That’s how it’s always been. They release a new patch, you play the content in the new patch.
“Season” is really just a rebranding of what they were doing already.
Hasn’t it been “seasonal esports” since vanilla?
If anything, they’ve reduced downtime between new raids and such lol.
A new raid tier is a new season. Idk where you got this idea its a recent thing.
“Retail WoW bad”
More like trying to define everything they don’t like as an esport or blame it on esports
Do you all want cookies for being cool? You’re better than me I get it. Some people play at a slower rate and don’t want to feel pressured to do something in the game.
For the record I don’t need 9 months to get AOTC. I usually do it within 3-4.
im fine with it. gives people time to get what they want. after they can can just do what they want
If you complete AotC within 3-4 months why are you advocating for the season to be 2-3 times longer then? That’s just absurd.
There’s advocating for a timeframe that allows more casual guilds to complete things, which 6 months is perfectly reasonable, then there’s wasting everyone’s time, which is what 9 months of a season is, as we’ve experienced in ICC, Siege of Orgrimmar, Dragon Soul, Castle Nathria.
Didn’t think that before, but definitely do now after that attitude.
Oh… So you agree that it doesnt take 9 months to clear the raid… K cool, so then im right, your fun chill group is too relaxed and doing something wrong. Go have fun idc, but dont pretend that time is needed
Absolutely not.
This season on launch was horrible, now imagine how much worse it could get with even less time to iron things out. I’m of the unpopular mindset that they should take as much time as they need to have it ironed out. If I have to wait 8 months for finished content that won’t make me want to play chicken in traffic then I’m okay with it.
I do believe though that adding more content to do in-between patches with the skeleton crew that’s at the helm of that should be invested into more. I’d love for more revamp style content where we can go into old instances like with scholo and SM.
I mean, even before “seasons” became a thing, there was often 5-6 months between different raid tiers. Is it really all that different?
That isn’t how it’s always been. It started to be this way towards the end of Wrath, and they really went overboard on it with MoP and Legion, much to the detriment of the game.
