You can check achieves and see that I’ve gotten KSH in like the 2nd week of every patch and that I’ve gotten CE both tiers in DF.
Haven’t touched keys since the first week of 10.1.5 but have 2 characters over 3100. A dps warrior and an evoker.

And if PvP is anything to go by, blizzard has no intention of removing dead content from their games. Not to mention as delves cap out at a lower ilvl than keys provide they won’t be dying out any time soon.
Weird, BGs are full of players at all hours of the day. More people play BGs than run M+.
There’s always going to be a “Best” comp no matter how Blizzard nerfs/buffs things.
you can with the billions of dollars and the immense amount of resources blizzard has, but keeping new classes/specs META makes money

Aug is just borrowed power in class form. Nothing will be done about it this xpac, will be interesting how it gets adjusted for the next xpac.

It doesn’t though, there are other factors at play for most players beyond just “What’s best”, as long as things are within sufficient range of eachother then personal preference and availability will win out, you won’t have a meta where every spec is considered top tier but you can absolutely have metas where the number of specs people bring to high end mythic+ is greater than 5.
I’m tired of this myth that high end keys are just the same 5 spec comps as far as the eye can see every single season. Playing keys 100, 200 points above title last season the only role that was kinda consistent was prot pala tank, even then you had others. Besides that one you saw every other class queueing up.
Aug needs to be nerfed to where its good in raid and useless in M+ otherwise you are correct, with augment in a meta, the best classes will be whatever synergizes with them the best as it was last season. If aug is no longer meta and classes are somewhat balanced, that’s when the metas arnt as bad because multiple classes can usually fir the same role in a meta, as shown alot in MDI seasons when rogues DHs and sometimes monks are swapped out of the melee role becuase at times they can fill very similar roles in M+, but if aug is meta, then the only one taken will be the one of the three that fills the role that also synergizes with aug.

How about no, how about we dont making changes to the game because of that trash. Blizzard sure wont, they actually openly admitted that raids and M+ are experienced by the minority and that they will no longer pretend it is and that is why Delves, Companions and Warbands are coming.
No more of this nonsense of focusing on less than 10% of the dwindling playerbase. The days of being able to be ignorant for Blizzard is over, they need to cling hard to the players that remain.
Yes. So biased that it outs you pretty quickly. I’m fairly sure I know who your alts are just by the way you engage with folks about M+. Could be wrong, though. If so, welcome to the forums that with just a few dozen posts you feel confident enough to comment on “all the M+ defenders” on the forums.
Delves look fantastic and I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if M+ participation dropped due to folks engaging in delves, and I’m okay with that. If delves turn out to be that awesome, I’ll be thrilled. I’d love to see more people enjoying the game in different ways.
I’m also hopeful that cross-realm guilds will encourage more people to raid.
cant tell if thats satire or not, but metas affect alot more than just 10% of wows population. Metas are often shown on streams and videos, while being talked about constantly, which leads to invite for any content in wow being based on what class you are playing and if they are meta or not. you could be doing a 1 key or just looking to do a BG, maybe you play a bit more often and want to push a 20, any class can THRIVE in all those situations, but the group leaders have seen the videos or stats on the metas, there favorite streamer might have even talked about them, so they know that class A is better than class B so they invite other guy over you even to content easily soloable becuase why not. Yes this even happens in WQ groups
Go watch the Blizzcon deep dive. Blizzard is no longer going to focus on raids and M+, they are going to actually try to retain players now by focusing on the majority.

so you didnt read anything i just said? METAs hurt any content in any game, its that simple, so no company will ever sit back and and not care when one playstyle is clearly superior to everything else.
Sorry to burst ya bubble, but the new world progression path “delves” will not reward better gear than mythic raiding or high mythic keys.
