The ability to use Tokens to resub on an unsubbed account was well documented as intended. Up until this free weekend, the option was still on the character select screen (behind the Resubscribe button on the new screen) as I had personally checked for a friend and saw it there myself.
If you’ve run out of Game Time but you have a Token in a character’s inventory, you’ll be able to use the WoW Token from the character select screen and add Game Time to any WoW game account on your Battle.net Account. If your Game Time has expired, you can purchase and consume a WoW Token directly from the character select screen. Each character on the selected realm will contribute gold to the price of buying the WoW Token, including gold in characters’ mailboxes.
Something changed since the free weekend. It’d be nice to know if the change is deliberate or a bug. And if it is a bug, to have an official post to point to when submitting tickets. I don’t think any of the vet players are expecting more than that.
So what if they don’t the ins and outs of ONE aspect of WoW. Do you know every single thing about WoW and all the changes within the game and such? Nope, didn’t think so. In fact, there would be very few who do.
