Are PVE servers bad?

Actually, real fights are fair. Or do you think that rogue is “sup3r l33t skillzz” for ganking a caster with 25% health and no mana? That’s not a fight, that’s an adult taking a kid’s ice cream at the park.

Classic is a Rock, paper, Scissor system. Which means fights will always be swayed to one side or the other, it is up to the player on how they deal with the fight.

it’s never fair, but the people who learn how to PVP, will win a lot of the time regardless of whether it is fair or not.

There are no stars for “participation”, not everyone gets a trophy for showing up. Not every kids gets the same amount of food as every other kid in the lunch room. WoW Classic PVP is no different. Fights are not fair.

And if no one is gonna give a damn, what’s my incentive for playing on PvP servers? Just not interested. I’ll do my PvP in battlegrounds while avoiding the bull that comes from world PvP, and have plenty of fun that way.

If I’m gonna spend a good portion of my time playing target dummy for some 12 year old undead rogue, make it worth my while.

PvE carebear spotted

I don’t know because my experience has been that PvE servers are a ton of fun while PvP servers are a cesspool of eP33n thrusting pissing contests. But whatever floats your boat, I say.

They are just trolls trying to get a rush from your emotional response, They can’t get their rush by ganking you on a PvE server but try to gank you on a forum post. Its all sadistic nonsense. Nothing wrong with rolling PvE; just examine your goals and ignore these fools.

All the real PvP happens in battlegrounds and duels anyway, and those happen just fine on PvE servers. World PvP is nothing but a pointless crapshow.

I make part of the game optional to me because I don’t have time to spend 80% of my game time running back to my corpse because some teenaged cheeto dust-fingered nurd thinks his best way to get his jollies off is to kill my avatar repeatedly or my quest givers repeatedly with no recompense while he’s at least 11 levels ahead of me.

Time is money, and im not wasting my money on losing out on my sense of progression of my character.

Years ago i was all about the world pvp, but these days…nah…you can have it.

I’ll flag appropriately when i feel like it, and deflag when i don’t. Good day to you sir.

Hello fellow windseeker!

The NPCs may all be at war with each other, but I’m not at war with any players outside of instanced battlegrounds.

While playing my Alliance character the other day, I helped a random Horde character in Ashenvale who had pulled way too many mobs. He thanked me for it, and I went on my way.

Because they are genuine noobs and carebears.

getting a good chuckle out of people using the word carebear like they are playing old school UO or other MMO’s where there is actual risk to PvP. PvP servers are just slightly less “carebear” than PvE servers.

play what you want OP. no one should be judging you because you like to play the game without worrying about ganking

I’m pretty sure that the Normal servers have just as much toxic behavior going on especially in the chats (general and trade). Have you gone on a Normal server and just read the chat on those servers. I would say just a different kind of toxic behavior, but I’m pretty sure that the PvP servers have the same type chats going on, too. I would say that there are no safe place in WoW even in the forums just look at this thread’s posts. sigh

They are bitter, abused players, subject to ganking by other bitter, abused players, every minute they play, whereas players on PvE realms can choose when and whether to become involved in PvP. Just a matter of taste LOL

Hilarious is thinking that, somehow, another person’s playstyle preference affects your gaming experience.

Hilarious is thinking that their playstyle choice is wrong and they’re somehow “baddie scrubs” because YOU don’t agree with them.

Even though most of the big world pvp on ED was arranged beforehand, it was still tons of fun. I miss WotLK.

if you’re serious…

No, they’re not. I’ve got friends that play on PVP servers and love it. And they’re the most cheerful people i know.

If being facetious…carry on

pvers are bad yeah. well not so much bad but more they can’t adapt.

i would never take a pver on a mission thats for sure.

Some of us don’t want to deal with people higher level than us corpse camping, ganking, etc. Also not fun being when your on a realm that your faction is outnumbered on. Don’t care how good you are 1 vs 3+ chances are your going to lose. Same goes when somebody several levels above you attacks and/or when they attack you while your in the middle of trying to solo something.
