Are PVE servers bad?

Ganking a lower level player while he’s questing - which is 95% of world pvp - is the virtual equivalent of an adult knocking an ice cream cone out of a child’s hands and laughing. If someone is not sadistic, then why would he do that?

And you’re using ad hominems.

Most technological advancements come from Europe and Asia. I am not sure if you know much about European and Asian history, but it proves you wrong constantly. If you wish to claim places like Europe and Asia weren’t tribal during their zenith, then you are beyond convincing. I am done.

It’s not, but okay.

There are no more people to become terrorists if there are no more people. It is the constraints of the civilian leadership and their not wishing to deal with the true consequences of war that hamper the military’s ability to reach out and turn their enemies into corpses.

This is an important point. I’m here to explore and do quests and experience the world, but many players I know on my server are in a hurry to level, just so they can be high level. In some senses, I’m taking a big chance by lagging behind that race, but I’m cool with it. I even formed a guild whose name reflects that!

Because this is World of Warcraft not World of Carebearcraft

Nay, they must be killed until they delete their characters and all their stuff.

Exactly this. The funny part was that most of the people whining about it whined even more when the alliance got tired of the broken sharding in warmode at the start of BFA where alliance wound up out numbered 10 to 1 or worse thanks to blizzards tech so most just turned it off which removed even more wpvp from the game.

The ice cream part starts at 20 seconds.

Yes, I just quoted myself. Because I basically just rewrote the ice cream analogy in my earlier post to make it video game related.

I’m 62 and have arthritis.
Doesn’t matter if you do or don’t understand, I’ll play the way I like.

Maybe, just maybe one day people will understand that ever person has different interests and some like PVP and others do not and that will be okay.

Personally, I find WoW pvp to be meh. PvE is more fun in WoW to me. I roll on PvP servers tho, for the added risk. I get my PvP fix in other games. WoW is just too bland in that area for me. People that say PvE servers are bad are just morons and self deluding themselves if they think ganking in the world equates to any skill at all.

If I want to PvP, I join a BG. World PvP is not my thing, and I’ve played on PvP servers before BFA (my current server was a PvP server before warmode). I don’t enjoy getting ganked, and I don’t need to waste time on corpse runs when I don’t have a lot of time to play right now.

If you want to fight me, you’ll have to do it in a BG, on a much more even playing field. I doubt you’d call me a carebear then.

Ganking isn’t my thing, nor does it equal PVP, imo anyway. Other games do world PVP so much better.
But with that at least the cap here on Classic is 60, sometimes you can have a fighting chance.

I’ll learn how to PvP in battlegrounds and duels outside of Stormwind or Ironforge. I learn nothing of how to PvP when some rogue ganks me at 25% health. I don’t even get a chance.

You learn how to evade. Which is part of PVP, a part many people on PVE servers never learn. Just leave the PVPing to the PVP servers.

Nah I’ll PvP on my own terms in the future when battlegrounds come around. Where everyone is fully prepared and acknowledging of PvP, and the fights are fair and real.

Real fights aren’t fair. This isn’t Hello Kitty Online Adventure, Butters…

If they love PVP so much why don’t they play a real game like Street Fighter and see if I am a “carebear”
