Are people really that bored?

It actually isn’t. Greed isn’t a fundamental part of human nature.

they said they would keep it going even if there were not many people playing. they didnt exactly say until the end of wow though.

i bet retail wow will keep going for a long time too, but will change their model in the coming years. as for classic we will probably get fresh servers in a few years, and maybe tbc and wrath

Not bored at all. Classic forever!

You just made a post about TBC and WotLK.

I’d love to see The Burning Crusade servers … as long as they don’t replace the Classic servers. But separate servers for The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King? Totally fine with it. I’d probably play on them as well at some point.

People have been calling for TBC/Wrath servers for heck of a lot longer than 2 months. Maybe you’ve only been paying attention for that long but it has been an ongoing request since Blizzard announced they would be doing Classic servers.

Trust me, the TBC/WotLK crowd very much cared about Classic, because if it wasn’t successful they understood there was zero shot for anything else.

Yeah it’s just people pushing their preferred xpac, nothing more. I personally preferred things as they were at some point in TBC or early WotLK (mid-late WotLK screwed up a lot of things), but I don’t push for servers with those xpacs because I’m pretty happy just to have Classic as it is.

No classic wasn’t my WoW dream. I really enjoy it but I have always viewed it as the stepping stone to get TBC.

Don’t you have some pet battles or LFR to do?

I want to see modified versions of all the expansions released over time, in the Classic style. Add levels, add basic abilities, but use talent points to gradually add the bells and whistles plus all the passives, so we can still have a talent point every level. Don’t combine abilities or make common ones built onto the class. Keep levelling an important part of the game at the Classic pace. Don’t add LFD or flying or cross realm servers. And so on.

Or…you know…its possible that its only one group of people that wanted classic and got it. And a completely different group of people saw that and decided to ask for TBC in the hopes that they will get it too. And at the same time yet another group of people who liked WOTLK over classic and TBC are also asking for a rereleased WOTLK too.

The classic folks are just scared TBC and WOTLK will kill decimate the classic servers (even though its inevitable).

I heard most servers are already down to a single layer anyways. Just a matter if time for the merges to occur.

Oh sweetie pie. I don’t rush anything. I am old. I take my time. I’ve only gotten to 30 on my lock. I like the smell the roses and go at a snails pace. I am fine with that. That being said even old dogs can learn new tricks.
I don’t like having to hang around for an hour or two putting a dungeon group together. I miss that function. But the nochangers have a loud group and we will never see any of today’s gaming comforts in classic.
And that is what will be the death of classic. And for that I am sad.

Tryhards gonna try hard and then complain when they’ve burned through everything.

You sound salty. Just because some people think classic is there fav not everybody does.

Classic obviously isn’t going to last forever since it has limited content. I think it’s natural for people to be thinking beyond classic. In two years I want to be playing TBC since i’ll be bored of classic by that point.

Sure but it’s better to release them than to stay on classic forever. With Classic you get at most two years of content and then you have nothing else for people to do. With the other two you can stretch it out to six years total and keep people engaged. It’s probably good for Blizzard’s bottom line. People will come back and stay subbed for longer when they can play their favorite version of WoW.

That would be Wrath for me. But hey, I’m a minority.

Don’t expect TBC before Phase 6 of classic and they probably wouldn’t announce those servers for a long time anyways.

And those people can wait a couple years. Classic fans waited 13. Don’t ruin it for them by rushing it. TBC servers wouldn’t even be a consideration if it weren’t for the people who lobbied for Classic.
