No, stop being a child and take accountability for your own poor behaviour, your own involvement in letting this get out of hand.

That’s totally my look right now Sarm :wolf:

Find a post where I attacked someone for having a different opinion. You made the claim, now back it up.

(And btw, I did apologize for attacking Moghrel yesterday)

It was her response to me listing a bunch of manipulation tactics that come right of an abuser’s handbook, that Sylvie has used on her Forsaken to keep them in line. Sometimes very clearly, like with Lydell in EoN and her reasons for allowing the Gathering. As evidence of why I see Sylvanas as the Forsaken’s Manipulative Abuser. And an abuse victim that allowed their pain to consume her, and become an abuser in turn.

I really should put up a post about how Gul’dan didn’t do nothin’, and was always just looking out for Draenor and his people. It’s a real shame how many people in the community misunderstand him, and his character.

I’m sure it’ll get a lot of traction once people see the truth. I mean, look how sad and defeated he looked before he got killed by Illidan. That was SAD. If he had that sad look on his face, it means he failed to save all the people he potentially could.

Gul’dan, always cared about the Orks, especially his own tribe, and wanted what was best for them.

Anyone who disagrees with this, I may, or may not attack. But only to defend Gul’dan, because sometimes you gotta help a fictional friend in need.

Lol she even defended you until she realized that there’s nothing to defend

Apologize to me.

You disrespected me. I didn’t need you to defend me. You choose to and now your attacking me because we disagree over a plot device.

I still dont get why people dont see this, its so clear

I know, civility in a online forum? Insanity :joy::rofl::joy:

Apologize to every single person who had to read your abomination of a thread.

She also apologized for defending you, which was a pretty nice redemption arc.

When did the system break? Legitimately a question.

Was it when the Jailer snuck the Helm of Domination to the Nathrezim to the Burning Legion to Ner’zhul to Arthas to Bolvar? Typing that sentence pained me.

Was it when the Jailer was able to somehow gain the allegiance of the Val’kyr from… Helya? I guess? … so that they could corrupt the Kyrians/Uther and torture Sylvanas?

Was it when Odyn gave his eye to Mueh’zala which became the Eye of the Jailer?

Was it when the Arbiter was somehow disabled?

Was it when Zorvaal was banished?

Legitimately, all of these things seem like a system breaking.

While Sylvanas is guilty of working with the people involved (accessory after the fact?), and she has perpetrating her own crimes, I don’t see her as being capable of any of those listed that actually “broke” the system.

That’s part of the “odd” factor for me, because for her to be tricked here means she’s being portrayed as colossally stupid. That might end up being the case, but in essence she goes from having a vendetta against the Lich King to cozying up to his boss. That glimpse of “doubt” in Kingsmourne is frightening to me for all the wrong reasons.

Are they really going to try to suggest that she’s just now figuring out he’s the guy who created the Lich King, trapped her in the Maw, etc? That he’s the mastermind behind the evil? I honestly hope it’s handled better than that, but I won’t be surprised if it isn’t. Just like I won’t be surprised if the breaking point is something akin to “Anduin breaks free of the Jailer’s hold just long enough to give a pleading look to Sylvanas who realizes she’s on the wrong side.”

My best guess is she feels stuck and is trying to play a long enough game to find some way out. As she goes along though she’s digging herself further and further into a hole she won’t be able to escape.

I don’t think it’s 7D chess or anything like that. I think the Val’kyr can take people to the Maw directly and she got tossed in. She’s given a choice of spending eternity in torment or go out. Whether she knows about the Jailer then or later, I don’t know, but she’s just trying to avoid eternal suffering. I kind of figure she learns about the Jailer at some point in Legion. If she didn’t, then her play for the Soul Cage doesn’t make much sense and he might even see that as a betrayal (she wants more Val’kyr and extra lives I guess).

It’s not like she has many people to trust or explain this to. Even if she wanted to do that - and they believed her - someone like Tyrande would’ve said, “Okay go suffer for others” or some other cliche.

So after Edge of Night she’s basically playing “yes sir” until something changes the status quo. Maybe the Jailer loses and she can find some “escape” somehow. Or she is destroyed forever. Or she ends up being tortured forever. Maybe the Jailer wins and she is destroyed forever. Or she ends up being tortured forever.

When choice A is “Eternal torture in WoW Hell by WoW Satan” - you might as well go along with choice B because it’s pretty hard to lose to choice A. At worst you end up back at choice “A” decades later. Then her look at Anduin is, “If I had just stayed and been tortured, he wouldn’t have to go through this. Well, we’re here now.”

Sigh People do tend to project their own insecurities on to others.

For what? :wolf:

All we know, is that it broke sometime during Legion. When exactly is anyones guess

His point is you can’t blame Sylvanas for that.

Sure we can, she was aligned with him during legion.

And you’d be wrong.
She’s not responsible for his actions she’s his underling.
