Allow UI and accessibility addons and disable the rest. Damage meters, DBM, anything related to parses.
I think the default Dragonflight UI customization options are great but I canât play Classic without Elvui or at least Bagnon

You dont need to no. Someone build an interface so all you have to do is mouseover them and you get a tooltip popup showing data.
Maybe we could get special badges to wear showing that we are worthless. The parsers like that kind of stuff.
To everyone bringing up the ToS argument - keep in mind that the ToS is an agreement between Blizz and that individual user. Blizz can choose whether or not to enforce the ToS on an individual basis. Same thing with copyright⌠the owner can choose when to enforce their copyright and when to allow it.
The ToS doesnât lock Blizzard into taking action. Iâm 100% against the addon, but I donât really think the ToS is the reason you want it banned⌠for me, itâs because it promotes pure toxicity as if SoD wasnât toxic enough already.
The addon is currently in limited/testing alpha, which is available to patreon subs as they are likely to give actual feedback rather than the public.
Once itâs in full release, it will be free, as stated on the WCL discord.
I canât wait, all these people about to get exposed and they all scared.

Itâs being completely blown out of proportion.
All of this data is already fully available to the public via the website, anyone who actually gives a single sh*t about parses is already just typing your name in.
This addon is purely convenience.
Anyone complaining about this addon existing on some weird social structure/toxicity argument doesnât use the WCL tool themselves anyway, so what does it matter?
Let people use whatever addons they want, who cares.

It takes literally 5 seconds to look someone up lmfao.
My understanding is that the main motivation behind this addon existing is they got sick of third parties creating similar addons that abuse the API access to scrape parses in a very inefficient/damaging way.
They would have to take action to either block or change how it works in response.
So, they decided to just do it themselves properly in a way they can control it.
Right you expect us to believe that they had no problem breaking tos and charging for it in the alleged alpha phase but wonât be charging for future releases. I love the mental gymnastics that the addon dev is doing on his forum acct to try and deflect from him breaking TOS>

They said it will be a full free version.
the devs in discord have said it will be full free on release.
itâs currently in alpha/testing for patreons only as they are the ones likely to give actual feedback (you know, the thing required during a testing period)

My problem has nothing to do with pug raids⌠putting it in game will make it part of every single interaction. I wonât play a game with a built in scarlet lettering system. Iâm 100% done until this is banned. I hope Blizz decides to enforce the ToS with this addon, which it obviously violates and not just for charging money.

These addons have existed for literally years already, this is not the first one. You should have quit already you big drama queen.
Donât forget to also report the multiple levelling addons and raid weakauras which are in FULL RELEASE and are directly charging people with NO FREE OPTION.
