Can you show me how this increases shareholder wealth?
Once me and my fellow shareholders oust the board for failing in their responsibility you can vote to elect me as director
My first act as will be to demand a 50% cut of all proceeds linked to Blizzard’s properties
I can show how that creates wealth for my investors directly
It’s adding a business stakeholder to the business.
A non competing one at that.
We can already have that…
This is our data
They need us
Not the other way around
I think as director I can get them to agree to share in their profits
You can’t pay for whiskey with good feelings.
I can put money in your pocket!!
So back to my very first point…
Back to my point
Good feelings doesn’t pay for whiskey
They depend on us. Why let them use our data for free?
As director my first act would be to send a cease and desist letter to WCL demanding financial compensation.
You’re just being ignorant at this point.
WCL already gives your stock more value, stop being dense.
Why? Because I want to remove the board of directors because they are giving money away?
What is the overhead at WCL?
I am guessing they have a sufficient margin to be able to compensate our shareholders.
Our shareholders paid to make this data, why would we give it to WCL so they can make $25?
“Ignorant” feels like a projection to be 100% honest. You don’t even ask questions. You just open our shareholders wallets
Because you’re getting value from a non competing stakeholder. If you get rid of WCL you don’t make that $25, do you?
You would need to develop and compete against WCL for it to have any chance at financial success. And why would you take that risk for something that is taboo for some?
It’s almost like by doing nothing, MSFT is already benefiting from the additional non competing stakeholder in the game.
You are saying we are getting value
All I see is headaches. I want real compensation.
You seem to be representing WCL’s interest. Not even concerned with the financials… As director I am removing you from the board
Simply put if addons are going to cost money now then the underlying data that feeds them should not be free.
You seem to be more interested in WCL
I suspect you are moonlighting
RP off. I suspect a few blue employees as well.
WCL… rested xp.
There always is, corruption and nepotism are great friends.
I seem interested in understanding value stock pricing.
I suspect you’re just confused on what a stakeholder actually is.
Blizzard has become a victim of their own success. Complacency is a real killer.
The truth is that big brained blues know what I am saying. They are just too lazy to deal with.
“It’s not material”
“We can’t make billions watching pennies”
The neat thing is watching folks like WCL scrape them up. Turing scrap into a product… just normally the company making the scrap attempts to make some money off it too.
Chips and swarf
Except one of the biggest saving graces for how WCL can operate their business is that they’re not official.
If Blizzard had their own WCL I could only imagine the threads complaining about how speed runs, roles, mobs, buffs, etc are all determined.
I WILL NOT play any version of the game where an addon like this is allowed. I’m done until something changes.
Sorry guildies, but this is the absolute definition of toxicity. It was already too toxic, and I was already not having fun anymore.
There are a lot of abstract ways to think about this.
I actually like your “WCL whipping boy theory”
The truth is blizzard is just lazy and complacent. They need to get value from their “chips and swarf”. They have done fine without it but I have a feeling we are seeing the long term results live time
Instead of thinking abstractly lets just be straight forward and logical.
What you’re saying to do, doesn’t make sense. WCL already adds value and it’s in no way shape or form, fundamental or prohibiting towards WoWs continuation.
What I am saying has precedent
Companies take companies like WCL and rested xp to court.
The NFL lost one of these a while ago.
Sorry brother. I am know I am right about the fact that blizzard is leaving money on the table.
How much? We can debate that.
I enjoyed our discussion.
But since I don’t have to worry about your parents emailing the dean I can say you are a terrible capitalist and incredibly naive.
