I think warcraft logs is really overstepping in SOD and I wish someone would come up with a better logging site.
WCL is creating toxic gameplay by:
- Only placing value in selfish metrics
- Intentionally not counting core mechanics fights, such as damage on adds on Eranikus, such that it rewards selfish gameplay
- In all these years, has done nothing to incorporate scoring around being a teamplayer such as interrupts, crowd control, etc.
WCL is behind the toxic culture we see today.
Logging and metrics are not inherently bad but the way WCL uses them, they absolutely can be.

Well obviously they’re going to selectively enforce serious crimes, like murder, and let the littler things slide, like a traffic ticket.
If you believe Archon breaks the Addon ToS. Then I suggest reporting it to WoWUI@blizzard.com along with what rules it is breaking and any other pertinent information.

Blizzard and WCL are complicit in their effort to siphon wealth away from Microsoft’s shareholders.
Shareholders paid for this data and blizzard is allowing it to be openly stolen for the profit of another.
Blizzard and Microsoft have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders, which includes many of you. When they get a incorporated they are agreeing to represent shareholder interests.
The one interest all shareholders have in common is our interest to increase our value.
Giving data to WCL so they can sell premium subscriptions for $25 is of no interest to me as a shareholder in Microsoft.
TLDR: This is a violation of Blizzard and Microsoft’s fiduciary responsibility to shareholders
