Actually a more fair way would be too boot people who have been in silithus the longest, with the exception of people on the scepter quest. That would prevent people from hogging the spots and help cycle as many people as possible in to see the event.
This is because of the sheer number of brains working on each side of an issue. It’s the same as fraud. You could have a thousand people in a credit card company working to further secure your accounts, but they’re up against hundreds of thousands of people who want to dupe them over.
A small dev team can’t possibly fathom the same number of ideas that the whole player base can. However, it does state that whoever “has a Scepter will never be automatically removed.”
I could understand this take as well, fair enough. I’m just not okay with telling people “You didn’t grind, you don’t get to come in”.

I’m glad you can tolerate people getting teleported out of an event cause their servers and client cant handle the population, but some people feel like it’s punishing the players for design incompetence. I’m not mad at you because you can enjoy the game in this manner, why you mad at me cause I can’t?

I have a question for clarification on when this 90-day period begins and ends.
If I transferred on May 1st, am I then eligible to earn the mount any time after August 1st. I am a member of a guild that moved to a higher population realm from a near dead realm so that we could build a raiding group and coalition with other players. We did this late april and early may. This is important to us because we would naturally like to have one of our own able to work towards the mount. Please clarify how the 90 day restriction works…
I think it’s because Silithus is the heart of the matter. The farming happens there, the quests, the raids. The war effort. People are fine with the bosses in other zones, that’s not the problem

But why Westfall, seriously that’s like 30 min away and Barrens is like 5 min away. Port to hearth location or if they have it as the Cenarion Hold just port to their main city.

this is just very old legacy code that’s existed since vanilla that still exists today. if character becomes stuck or not found, the server script is literally coded to just dump the character in westfall or barrens
