Appeal Feels Useless/Unfair (Not Knowing Has No Leeway)

just a mistake dude and didn’t know… that’s it. but it’s cool i guess.

And that mistake led to another suspension, which is a longer suspension because of the previous history.

While real-world scenarios rarely work well, let’s try this: You go to a bank and steal $1,000 from them. Get arrested, go to the judge, and they go easy on you. Pay back the money, do some community service, and you don’t go to jail. Six months later, you steal $100 from somebody on the street. This time, you go in front of the judge and they sentence you to a year in jail.

Now, you complain up and down that it’s not fair you were released after stealing $1,000, but have to go to jail for stealing $100. It’s about the history, not the amount. You got a lesser punishment once, and the next time, it’s a stiffer penalty.

Sorry to sound mean about this, but I don’t buy it. You’ve played for 14 years, know to come to the forums, know there’s a Trade (Services) channel, and as Orylia said, you’ve been popping back and forth between the channels to spam your ad…but never thought to find out the difference between the channels? Personally, I don’t believe that for one second. It was a very public change, that lots of players begged for Blizzard to do.

But let’s assume I’m wrong and you truly didn’t know. As has been stated dozens of times above: that’s not an acceptable excuse. In any aspect of life, both virtual and real world.

I think everything that needs to be said, has been said.

I am sorry that this hasn’t worked out better for you, some lessons are learned harder than others. I am confident now that you know that’s a mistake you won’t repeat going forward.
