Anyway to get around dragon riding?

Right if we wanted to play guild wars we would go play that.

yup.
and while I thought it was a blast the time or two I ran it, if youre having ANY trouble at all with DRing its very likely youre going to have serious trouble in that run.
Know how it gets when you have that rushy tank?
Now toss in having to jump on a DRing mount, try to dash in whatever direction, keeping up with the pack, then landing on a dime so you dont pull any mobs that dont need to be pulled, fighting X, then repeating the above process, all at lightning speed. lol

So is walking…when you have properly working legs.
and when you dont?

Yup which is why it is mandatory.

for the jokers in here PRETENDING that motion sickness isnt a thing and even going to the asinine, laughable extent to use the phrase ‘common denominator’ to someone who DOESNT have motion sickness…lmao

Motion sickness is very common. About 1 in 3 people are considered highly susceptible to motion sickness.
https://medlineplus.gov/genetics/condition/motion-sickness/#frequency

and that is ONE of a LONG list of sites that came up in a google search all showing the SAME THING…that motion sickness is VERY COMMON.

Now…WHY are you wasting our time in this thread? It literally DOESNT concern you that people who have it (and handicaps causing them problems with DRing) that they are voicing their issues in here.

THIS FORUM DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!
BLIZZARD THEMSELVES TELL US TO COME HERE WITH THIS STUFF!

Me reading this thread wondering when so many WoW players apparently went to war and lost a limb. This thread would have me believe at least half the playerbase is physically incapable of pointing their camera and pressing buttons (which is what 90% of the other content in this game requires) and I just don’t buy it.

Literally no one here CARES what you dont buy.
There was a many many years ago who played golf.
The man had no arms.
By what people like yourself ‘buy’ the man WASNT handicapped because he COULD play golf, lmao.

handicapped…or not?
Because Ive seen people just like you saying if a man CAN play golf he CANT be handicapped.

yeah…the man CAN play golf
Now…force him to play against Tiger Woods and what happens…lmao

They already stated that we WILL get regular flying a little later. They just didn’t state when yet.
It’s coming.

ah that would suck…i kind of get queazy y when my toons fall ; like i am the one falling. The roller coaster effect feeling. I don’t go on roller coasters not anymore anyway. I can just jump off a cliff and watch.

I hope they add normal flying, but dragon riding is awesome and fast.

Rule 1: use a mouse. Rule 2: press down both mouse buttons at once. Rule 3: don’t use an apple 1 button mouse.

This method also works underwater and with normal mounts.

Super easy and can do it with one arm, and may not need 2 fingers, but 2 are preferred.
Problem solved.

Congrats to him. But notice how they didn’t change the entire golfing rule system to accommodate him? If anything, your post should serve as an inspiration for people to find ways to master DR despite their limitations. I don’t think this post made the point you thought it did.

they make lots of over the counter meds that are for uncommon things lol. what a moron lol.

if its so common they have over the countr medication for motion sickness then go take your meds whine a$$

Can motion sickness be cured?

Desensitization therapy works for minimizing or even curing motion sickness. Expose yourself to short bursts of activities that cause symptoms, and then work up to longer periods. If reading a book in a moving vehicle makes you feel nauseated, try reading for five minutes and then putting the book down.

you will be fine. its not cancer, you wont die.

You can always walk if you don’t like it

MISSED THAT PART ABOUT HOW HE AINT COMPETING AGAINST TIGER WOODS, I SEE.
so YES, the game IS ALTERED for someone like him. And its LITERALLY called ‘handicap’. He gets ‘head start’ on his score BECAUSE OF his shortcomings
lmao

A golf handicap is a numerical measure of a golfer’s potential that is used to enable players of varying abilities to compete against one another.

THE ALLCAPS IS BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY ARE THE SORT WHO CANT PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS THAT MATTER IF THEY ARENT IN BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
lmao

you all reading this guy?
He literally just said theres NO handicap golf rules

Now…Ill ask you AGAIN…IS this golfer handicapped even though he CAN actually play golf.

deal with reality.

how about you tell this guy to just grow new arms, lmao

Oh, and if you know you’re heading downhill, Dragonriding is also faster than the FP most of the time. It is really, ridiculously good. For me it really is the most “homerun” feature Blizz designed in the last 15 years, maybe since original flight itself.

Dude still had to be able to hit the ball. Even for handicapped people, there is a minimum level of physical ability required to play the game that can’t be removed. Some people can overcome their limitations to meet the minimum physical requirements (hitting the ball in his case, or aiming the camera and flying the dragon in WOW’s case), and unfortunately some people can’t. For those who can’t, there’s only so much you can do to make it easier for them before you have to break things too much for everyone else.

It’s very common for people to have to switch hobbies or activities as they age and become less physically able. If someone is at the point where they struggle to aim the camera and direct their character, then it’s probably time to find another hobby.

Dragonriding is insanely fun. I was super skeptical but they did an excellent job.

Get over it.
