… or Suramar. ^.^
Eh. Sort of on the same boat. When I raided hard core I was horde, but then I got sick of hard core progression and people stressing over wipes, so I left it behind. Got into Alliance rp, realized the casual raiding was OK but not amazing, so I stuck with rp.
Every once in a while me and my friends come back to wow, but they always want to go horde for raiding and I just can’t be bothered. Not into the aesthetic at all
I have a soft spot for Tauren like many have mentioned in this thread but I always find myself coming back Alliance.
The Horde have a much better diversity but… I dunno just something makes me put up with the elf fanatics and it’s more than having the very best druid forms in game.
I just feel like Alliance cities have better plumbing, you know?
I’m definitely alliance for life, and I don’t see that ever changing.
Tauren for life.
Because everything needs to be perfectly balanced.
Except communities. Community should be 100% tauren.
I honestly like everything about the Alliance over Horde. The cities, the aesthetic, the lore, everything. Currently Horde only because of my sister, she doesn’t want to give up her blood elf. Here is hoping we will get cross faction play sooner than later.
That’s this character! Made back in BC and race changed in Legion.
I’ve been horde the entire time. I dabbled in Alliance once, back when leveling alts in WOD wasn’t terrible. I do agree, your cities and zones are way nicer. I’m just, never even at the horde zones. I’m always in the current content areas lol
I play whatever faction is best.
In OCE, that’s Alliance.
Why would I only play one faction? I enjoy both. It’s a more complete experience for me that way.
That said, Alliance tend to be quite uppity. So I’ll probably always main Horde.
I play both but horde more because of taurens. I really hoped that HMT would be on alliance so could be a tauren on both sides.
At this point lorewise I don’t even know why the Tauren haven’t just washed their hands of the Horde. After everything they’ve had to deal with it’s painting them as not having a backbone, which stinks because I do love Tauren.
Right there with you with this. Very few of the events since Sylvanas took over that I could see the Tauren being okay with enough to lend support.
In 9.1.5 she can basically have her blood elf on Alliance. The only thing she will be losing is green eyes
Tauren is the only Horde race id Welcome with an actual party to Alliance. Loved Bane before… Still do. I respect his morals
Let me analyse my first statement more.
The very existence of Undercity, Sylvanas and the Forsaken automatically lowers the reputation of the Horde as a faction that values honor. Badass and cool, yes. Honorable and aesthetically pleasing? Not by a longshot. Where should I start? From the fact that the Undead can cannibalise human corpses, to stitching humanoid limbs with each other and using magic to bring them to life (Abominations) and using poison melting gas against their enemies, to Undercity being more akin to a graveyard oozing with green liquid from the poison gas, guarded by Abominations and having laboratories in its lower floors where more human experiments are held?
Then there’s Orcs and Orgrimmar. Starting by the orc models which used to be exceptionally ugly and only in SL where brought up to par with other more updated models, to the music in Orgrimmar which instead of relaxing me brings me an army vibe that reminds me of work and school (that’s never a good thing), to Ogrimmar itself, which is basically full of scrap metal and spikes covered buildings, savage and primitive to the core.
The only ones I like are Silvermoon and Thunder Bluff. That’s why the Blood elf fanbase gets so extremely angry and flustered when we request for more pretty things on the Alliance, because they sacrificed their entire environment and honourable standards so they could play the prettiest race in the game. Giving the Horde a pretty race was, after all, the sole reason Blood elves were made.
And yet here we are, the Alliance dying and emptying, because Blizzard thought it a good idea to create the master combo of savage, badass and pretty in ONE faction, thus attracting a wide variety of players. I blame no other than Blizzard itself.
Started as Horde and like it but transferred Alliance end of last year.
I like both sides; Horde I find US guilds super nice and chill and good at PvP.
Alliance OCE guilds have been nicer but we are not good at PvP. Overall I’ve found most connection on the Alliance side.

I guess us players devoted to alliance are the fools eh?
I guess I am Alliance for life.
I mean. Pretty much, I don’t hate horde, I just really love playing as a night elf. Give me NE Paladins and I’ll never have to play a different race again… maybe iam more loyal to the night elves than alliance? I’ve tried playing horde but I just don’t enjoy it as much.
I do really like tauren and HM tauren tho
I play mainly on EU. I disagree. I started on EU draenor, it used to be balanced now it’s empty of Alliance. I switched to Silvermoon and my guilds have been dying there too, often with an extremely difficult time to find groups.
