Any other Solo Players out there?

that’s silly because that’s how it is in every single MMO, including WoW…you still have NPC’s up in the old world from 20 years ago ready to go for that fight for the twenty millionth time lmao

Look at the Raid numbers for Normal/Heroic/Mythic and then realize how small that group of players actually are in comparison.

Ahh, I see. I’m entitled because I don’t want to spend all my time in instanced content and am happy with the scraps provided me in my open world solo play. I think maybe the entitlement is wanting everybody to conform to your style of play. We can all exist in the game and play it how we want and once we all come to that understanding we’ll all have a better time.

Dudes just trolling at this point.

That’s not even close to all the group content the game has to offer

So you don’t know that what I said is not true…

Probably, but I’ve accomplished all I wanted to in game today and am bored so I’ll give him his precious bites.

Ironic this is.

Actually this comment right here is 100% text book example of entitlement. A solo player would actually be the opposite of entitled considering they just want to do their own thing and progress at their own pace.

You dont even know if what you said is true or not. Youre just guessing and spouting random opinions of yours to try and push your agenda.

I’m about the same age and had the same path. I used to REALLY get into the high end competitive raid scene for a bit. I got tired of treating this game like a job and having a set schedule. I decided to focus more on the exploration side of the game. group finder is nice for when I feel like doing group content.

The guild I’m in now lets people raid if they feel like it and that suits my play style. We’re not competitive at all for the most part. They raid like two hours a couple of days a week. I think the best thing I did was search for a guild that was more laid back. The competitive guilds I was in soon got toxic after a bit.

I just enjoy doing dailies and world quest when I feel like it. I recently took a a month break, came back for the new content. I feel more relaxed when I play now.

Plus I have kids, family ect. I don’t have as much free time as I used to.

I don’t think I’m the one pushing an agenda here…

About 50% of all profiles have completed the raid.

About 65% of all profiles have completed a dragonflight dungeon.

Nope. It’s the attitude of “you will play with these people who don’t really want to play with you, you will do whatever it takes to be permitted to play by them, even if how they play is unappealing and they are basically unreliable.” That’s what’s killing the game.

Cool show the data resource. This would indicate a potential 35% loss minimum if solo players left and thats not to mention that Auto group finder is usually considered “Solo play” by most so that would need to be factored out.

I didnʻt mind the Dynamic events tho i felt that my actions could have been more impactful.

After the first couple of times i approached Dynamic events a bit more Jaded
Do I even bother saving this town again? They are just going to hand it over to the centaurs again in 5 minutes. uuugh.

I am a solo player for the most part. I make lots of alts and while leveling I absolutely do group activities like dungeons and battle grounds. At level cap I just can’t be bothered. I’m talking about instanced group activity specifically here, though. I’ll run with groups in open world stuff.

You can check any acheivement on WoWhead.

“Attained by 65% of profiles”

Now do you have sources for your claims? Or is this just a one way street?

the more recent meta events like from HoT through SoTo definitely give you the more meaningful impact feel and it’s community driven not just on the individual…which is awesome.

but yeah the vanilla stuff could use more meta stuff…but at least it’s all still relevant!!

it’s such a shame how WoW just cannibalizes zones every expansion instead of growing the game…and I truly mean that bcus I LOVE Warcraft lore and I love the asthethics :frowning:

I claimed solo players leaving would collapse WoW and when you consider a 35% player loss not even considering group finder content being removed from dungeon and Raid figures and I think it actually supported what I stated.

The repercussions of 35% (likely more) up and leaving would devistate the game.

“Completed the raid” does not make a player a raider. “Completed 1 dungeon”, don’t make me laugh. 1 normal dungeon, hahahaha.
