Oh no, the pressure is on. /sigh I cannot maintain this lie any longer. I’m poor. So I don’t use a padded stool. I just use a milk crate with a folded towel on it. I’m ruined on the forums. No one will ever believe anything I post anymore.
A few months? No.
Almost a YEAR ya thats a content drought.
What do you call what people were doing for that year? If it wasn’t content what was it? Everyone I knew was leveling a ton of alts. More alts then anyone had leveled in vanilla or BC. I thought we were doing content. Lots of it. I didn’t experience a content drought. We were all playing game content. What do you call the stuff we were doing?
A content drought means there was no new content for the entire year. A content drough doesn’t mean people had nothing to do.
Yeah, they had content to do. Blizzard designed content. What is it again that you call the stuff people were doing when they leveled alts? I always called it content. Is only the newest raid content? Because blizzard has said that back then a majority of the players never raided. So what you’re saying is a majority of the players never did any content?
I really hope that this anti-rdf ilk gets banned for false flagging posts like this.
I never said anything about levelling alts wasn’t content.
Best a vast majority of alts wouldn’t be posting either if they got suspended from the forums.
Then it seems to me if lots of players are leveling alts by doing content there wasn’t a content drought.
Do you want to re-read what I said:
And you should re-read what I said. That’s the raid loggers way of looking at it. If there isn’t a new raid every few months they call it a content drought. I’m not a raid logger so I disagree.
Do you not understand the meaning of "no new content?"
It doesn’t have to be raids. Please, start educating yourself on what “content drought” and “no new content” actually means.
I understand what those words mean. I just disagree that no new content means there’s a content drought when most of the players are leveling alts and doing the content.
Doing the stuff doesn’t mean the content drought, no I agree. But Alt leveling isn’t something new either.
When there is nothing new because you have already done it, and it last for a year, that is when there is a content drought.
I get it. When lots of people are playing the game and subs aren’t dropping because people are doing the content there’s a content drought according to raid loggers because it’s not new. I get that you raid loggers don’t count any content that people are doing unless it’s new. /shrug. I don’t care what raid loggers think or say. Everyone I knew was playing the game, we were leveling alts by doing the content. With the rdf we were doing lots of the content called 5 man dungeons. We didn’t experience any drought.
Are you seriously that stupid? It has nothing to do with raid logging. Please, keep up with this trolling.
Are you? It has everything to do with raid logging. For a majority of players back then, according to blizzard, questing and 5 man dungeons with alts was the end game. They certainly weren’t experiencing any content drought because there wasn’t a new raid. Blizzard has clearly said a few times that a majority of players didn’t raid at all. And you think those people who didn’t raid at all were experiencing a content drought because there wasn’t a new raid? And you call me stupid?
Once again, it has nothing to do with raid logging.
A content drought is when there is no new content added in
Exploring new zones, that is new content.
Doing new quest, that is new content.
exploring new raids and dungeons, that is new content.
Doing new dailies/World Quest, that is new content.
Please, go educate yourself.
According to the raid loggers. Not according to the majority of players in the game.
Why am I here trying to explain something to someone who doesn’t even understand what “new content” means.
They do disappear from time to time.
