That’s not my experience. I’d see more people in the world with rdf. I’d queue for a dungeon and go out to quest or farm while I waited for the queue to pop. Even if dungeon xp is better than quest xp quest xp is better than doing nothing. And while you quest you get mats to level professions or to sell and greens or maybe even a blue to use or sell. Almost everyone goes out into the world while they wait for a dungeon to pop.
With lfg channel most people spent their time spamming lfm for dungeon x instead of going out into the world.

That’s the raid loggers way of looking at it. If there isn’t a new raid every few months they call it a content drought. Subs did not drop during that “content drought.” So what were people doing for that year? Most people were leveling alts. If it isn’t content what was it?

It’s kinda interesting how much the RDF topic brings these types of people out the woodworks, I think they see that it can create a reaction out of people so they just to say the most ignorant and backwards takes and they double down because it’s more attention than they get anywhere else in their life.

just pointing this out but the current LFG just takes the auto parts out but functions similarly
You que for w/e dungeon you wants, someone invites (or hey, you make the group =O) then run to the dungeon
If you play on a dead server that’s more blizzard fault for not merging it or locking realms earlier so I can agree to cross realm LFG so dead servers can get groups as you’d still pick the mega server for raids in most cases.

I see more people out in the open right now lvling then I do in retail (50-60) even if it takes 10 mins or so to form because of all the DK’s
The only argument really is bg’s as you are stuck in one spot but honestly you always get people saying stuff
It could just be a server issue and mega servers are just going to be a thing regardless, to many people prefer less servers overall and a lot of players being on the same server.
Cross realms would help dying servers, yes and wouldn’t effect mega servers much as raiding and dungeons are different but in this case why chance it?
They are getting so many people into their game because LFG and /4 are creating engagement way more than retail so they know players prefer it or they’d be playing retail atm

I only started this last week.
I’ve tried to give this Retail tool a shot, I really did but man it’s so rough around the edges. The level requirements for certain dungeons while leveling will just keep you from seeing and queuing into certain places on top of that the level nerf in dungeons means anyone 5 levels higher can’t queue with you or you get really bad XP which further limits groups for people.
Not to mention constantly having to run to dungeons is also very exhausting, having to watch the LFG chat constantly or stare at the LFG screen.
I think honestly the best solution to dissolving Mega Servers as well as saving dying servers is flat out LFD + Cross Realm LFD. It would save everyone so much time and hassle imo and making leveling more fun.
The way it is right now with no XP buff in 2 weeks will absolutely kill leveling.

RDF is not boosting. The boost you can buy from the cash shop, that is boosting.
And this does not prove that RDF is bad for the game. 0/10 Low Quality Trolling
