Another one bites the dust

not. like. this.
what you know from your outdated pvp experience of undergeared players does not even compare to the current woes of undergeared players. back then you could earn equal gear to not be undergeared in arenas, and even when you were lesser geared you still had a chance. right now, if you go and earn your 200 ilvl conquest piece, it is not going to do anything. experienced pvpers can still work around it, but a lot can’t
go do rated pvp right now on a 200 or lower ilvl character that’s in full pvp gear, then you’ll understand that current undergeared versus geared isn’t close at all to any gear discrepancies you’ve ever experienced

the pvp ones are warranted. the best players in north america are also complaining about it. i know its easy to forget that pvp is a thing, but some people still play it

And ever since that change, PvP has been a dumpster fire. Let’s take your point about people making posts about “Blizzard. Never bring back exclusives”. In fact we’ve seen the opposite here and there on this forum. But when Holinka came out and asked PvPers if they’d be okay with them bringing back old elite sets the PvP community said hell no!

If they asked the PvP community about removing vendors, they’d have gotten the same response and would’ve possibly saved us 2 terribad expansions for PvP gearing.

I agree to both a queueing and faction problem

They do. Them not instantly obeying anything you personally think should be done doesn’t mean they don’t listen.

Another one here leaving. Most content like dallies and Torghast are out right boring.

My skill limit keeps from from progressing much into Heroic or in Mythic+ It just gets too frustrating with trying to keep track of stuff and seeing and reacting almost not stop. I get it players want to be challenged but it has gotten to much for me and when you quickly reach a limit why bother anymore. Time to move on.

Pre-TBC has been refreshing and quite stark how different from what it currently is now where it is either a snooze fest easy or just too much. Adios.

For those who like the characters, the story is torturous. For those who don’t, the story falls flat. And for everyone who plays the game for the game’s sake, they just aren’t having fun with the game’s design. It’s looking bad on all fronts, and I really hope something changes soon.

All the problems are because Blizzard made Shadowlands for the elite player demographic, nobody else.

It’s more about “I’m still here so when people point out its bad enough to make them quit, I feel a bit…funny…about it”.

It’s sort of like the comments people make when anyone points out a bunch of things wrong with the game, you know, the “If you don’t enjoy it, quit” type of thing. Don’t dare point out problems, because that makes me feel bad about enjoying it. :sunglasses:

is this not more of a match-making issue?

anyone 200 or lower is going to get smashed… i’m not sure why that would seem shocking.

why are they complaining?
if they’re the best players, they’d have the best gear and the highest skill level… wouldn’t they?
…which should put them at a distinct advantage?

you’ve taken the time to try and explain what’s going on (thank you) but i’m guessing there’s something which i’m still completely missing… so maybe it is time for me to just walk away from this. :woman_shrugging:

interesting opinion, because the forum feedback seems to be the complete opposite.

I’m done with WoW myself for the time being. I filled out their little survey, but I don’t think a lot is going to change.

I know I’ll be back at some point, but I need a break for awhile.

Right. Because it’s “just” me

UNCHAIN PLAYER POWER FROM RATING

no many players have your mindset. But all of you want different things and don’t make up any majority. Almost everything I’ve seen mass amounts of players ask for is done within a few months.

Don’t blame you. 9.1 is shaping up to be hot garbage too. It seems like .2 or .3 is now the first patch of an expansion worth playing.

  1. they have nobody to smash because everyone quit
  2. a lot of good players dont like smashing people. it is not fun to delete people that have zero fighting chance

the best way i can explain it is

imagine youre doing a normal dungeon. you dont do very well on the damage meters, youre average, so you get normal ilvl loot. everyone above you on the meter gets mythic ilvl gear

the next week you do the dungeon again, and because you didnt get mythic gear, youre now much lower on the damage meters. with this system, you will never be able to outdps the players in mythic gear who will get more mythic gear every week because they parse higher than you

you will be capped at normal ilvl, which is fine because youre doing normal content, but you will never get good meters and never get better gear, or in the case of pvp you will just continuously get smashed

or you can buy a carry and use your new gear to do the same to people who didn’t buy a carry :stuck_out_tongue:

There is no argument when it comes to PvP Vendors. Even top end players and commentators for the AWC thought that the removal of the vendors was stupid. It was not a minority

I see people say this, however it has never said it when I have unsubbed before. I’d love to see a screenshot or some kind of proof.

i feel like this is the most prolific it’s ever been… which may be compounding any issues.

Low post count, sure, but they have more achievement points than you which means they played the game a bit more than you did. For shame.

I’m a casual. I quit in February. I could see the writing on the wall that SL wasn’t created with the casual player in mind.

I came back in May just to check it out with a one month sub. It’s no better. Still isn’t fun to me. Ive since cancelled the sub and essentially done with WoW for now. I will likely wait until around close to the next expansion to return. SL just isn’t for me and I’ll leave it at that.

Hello… I made a post Friday morning in this thread listing all of the games I have quit and forgot to say goodbye on the forums. Friday afternoon, I was informed that the community did not appreciate my candor. For that I am sorry. I try to add some silliness to sometimes tense situations and perhaps I should avoid such. I am not saying I will be perfect but I do love you shcmucks and will try harder.
