I would imagine as a business if someone is no longer purchasing your products you’d want to know why.
I have played since vanilla. I left Shadowlands. Just couldnt do it. I have been loving classic and I am awaiting TBC!
Just my opinion I think the current designers go out of their way to not put in anything the older Dev’s did even when people ask for it, because it would mean that the older stuff worked better or was a better idea, an their ego’s could not handle that.
*I’m only subbed for the classic stuff coming out, not even buying retail just too poorly designed IMO.

Reread it, still sounds like you’re saying “Why care what someone who quit has to say”
Go into an arena today and look at the conquest earned bar, look at the 35 conq per win reward if you do 3s, then realize that without 220 ilvl you’re at a severe disadvantage and you will have an even harder time getting that win for 35 conq (losing gives 0 conq) and then realize that even when you get that 1800 conq weapon or 975 conq chest piece it’s literally 3 ilvls higher than useless honor gear and won’t help you not be undergeared unless you’re sitting 1800 rating already
Hope this gives a better perspective of why someone would complain about blizz’s decisions

Hey bud sorry to hear that , it does get repetitive sometimes and patch 9.1 has taken too long , maybe youl be back on chains of domination to see what happens to sylvanas or to get that sweet legendary bow.
id say lvl up alts , find new ways to play wow , do pvp try different stuff .
wow has lots of content but sometimes thats not enough.

I’m just saying, people keep asking “why make I quit threads” and part of the answer is “blizzard literally tells you to”
But they did give a reason. “Shadowlands isn’t fun”
Their reason for quitting could have been “I absolutely love shadowlands, but in my personal life I no longer have time to play” or “I love shadowlands, but I can’t afford a sub”
But the reason they gave for quitting is that the game isn’t fun. That is feedback to blizzard, even if it’s vague.
Blizzard will look at metrics as well as qualitative data. People are quitting. Subs are down. They broke glass and hit the burning crusade button to stem the flow.
What a lot of players are hoping for is to be heard and not just told what they want. So telling blizzard “I’m quitting because your game isn’t fun” is valuable feedback.

Why do people get triggered when someone quits and then makes a post. Its almost as if they realize something is wrong with the game.

Quitting isnt the trigger in most cases. Its the thread that follows.
Just like no one cares is you are straight, gay or bi; however if you make a thread announcing it then people are triggered
Because blizzard says you can make a post explaining why you quit. So again people are triggered
Or they’re just saying “so long” for now.
Blizzard already knows what’s going on with the game. They’ve decided to just do the basics to keep it going for as long as they can get a profit from it.
Once that’s done and it’s too expensive to maintain and keep going, they’ll release all the old expacs/vanilla and then end retail.
They know. They don’t need us to tell them anymore.

undergeared or “lesser geared” players have always been stomped by better geared players in arena.
if anything, the current issues are more around match-making.
look around this forum.
people make careers out of complaining about blizz’s decisions.
blizz could grant everyone $200 irl, and people would complain about it because they clearly deserve $205.
